I watched Jake return with the cube and then give it to Elfangor. I then saw Cassie and Jake place their hands on the cube so I did as well.

I put my hand next to Jake's. I was ready.

I watched Jake run into the ship, admiring his courage. Who else would just walk into a dying alien's spaceship and just grab one of their personal belongings? But I was hoping that it would be a weapon with which we could kick some Yeerk butt. When he came back out with a blue glowing cube, I found that I was slightly disappointed, that small bubble of emotion managing to float above the heavy depression I felt for Elfangor. As everyone touched it, I also put my hand on a side of the cube automatically, trying my best to hold back tears that threatened to fill my eyes for the Andalite.

 I was about to touch the remaining side of the cude when Elfangor snapped at me < Not you!>
I turned to look at him -Why?-
<You are different human, you seem to have met andalites before, operation tailblade, Ill explain later, all that matters now is that you get to safety>
So it took my hand away from the cube and waited...

I had heard every word Elfangor said to Sam, and my first thought was  -What does he mean different?- But this worry was pushed away by the feeling of warmth that spread first through my fingers, then my arm and my whole body, I felt sleepy, like in some sort of trance...

I blink as I looked confused from Elfangor back to Sam as I had heard the words Elfangor had said to him. I then quickly looked down at Elfangor and then to the cube as I felt a weird bit of warmth go into my fingers and through my whole body.

Thay all had their hands pressed aginst the cube, and I waited.
<Project tailblade was an Andalite military top secret project developed during the first years of ourwar against the Yeerks, its goal was to create a serum that would increase any living organism to its fullest potential and thus create faster, stronger, more intelligent and overall better soldiers .We achieved it on simpler organisms but it never worked on andalites,the serum was a virus  and  the Tria gland, the part of our body that stops disseases, prevented to spread.
Aparently it works just fine on humans> he added
I was shaken and confused -But how? I hadnt even seen an andalite up to now!-
<Yes you have, they are probably closer than you think. Test your limits some day, human. You will be shocked at what you learn...>

((Oh man, Ive grown to love Jake, but yeah, take him if you want, just pomise to post frequently and with good quality, mm and I dont think it would be a good idea to involve more out of cannon characters))

The red lights were really close now, we all separated from the cube.
<Go now,> the Andalite said. <Only remember this - never remain in animal form for more
than two of your Earth hours. Never! That is the greatest danger of the morphing! If you stay
longer than two hours you will be trapped, unable to return to human form.>
"Two hours," I repeated.
The he looked up, two ships about the size of the Andalites ship were closer each second and, next to them a bigger one, shaped as a medieval battle axe, the wings were the blade and the hanlde was the bridge, as black as a shadow within a shadow.
<Visser three is here!> He said with sudden urge < that is his blade ship. Go!Run!>
I jerked from the force of his command. "He's right. Run!" I yelled.

I pulled my hand away from the cube and looked up at the ships coming down and I knew I should have run but I couldn't as I saw Jake take off as I placed my hand on Elfangor's shoulder.*For some reason I feel close...like we met before.*in a calm attitude despite all that was happening.

I raised my eyebrow higher than it had ever gotten before. Sure, all of us were crying for this thing but I didn't feel a huge connection... then another ship came. I could tell it was bad news just by looking on it. I grabbed Tobias by the arm and sprinted toward a chest high concrete wall.

I ran, following Tobias and Marco. I was never really athletic, but i made it to safty anyway. I crouched down by the wall, gasping for air.

When the cube activated, I suddenly felt all sleepy despite the danger we could be in. When the warmth that flowed through my hand cooled off, I let go of the cube and then the alien shouted at us to run. I turned to look up at the enemy ship approaching, my fists clenching unconsciously as I stared. So, provided I didn't stay in the form for more than two hours, I could turn into an animal to kick butt? It sounded like a weird power but somehow I could surely use it...the only catch? Right now, I didn't know how to use it and even if I could, I'd have to train with it or something. Turning my back on the ship, I followed the others to a hiding place. I was tempted to use this run-up to vault over the wall like a real gymnast, but I wasn't going to be that stupid. If I fell, there was no cushion to stop me getting injured, and this was an unsafe construction site. Ignoring the part of me that wanted to feel adrenalin rush through my veins, I scurried round the wall and hid behind it, crouching next to Cassie.

When Jake told us to run I pretty much jogged with the others, I kept looking behind, my head clouded with doubts. Had I seen andalites before? Who? What if my parents were those  andalites? Or controllers?
We crouched behind a half finished  wall just as the two smaller ships activated searchlights that lit up the Andalite. A few seconds later, they landed, followed by the, blade ship? That was how Elfangor had called it right?
