I shrugged somewhat apologetically. "Yeah, sorry. The track would be better, but you never know when teachers'll go to school and work in their office even on a weekend." I made a face of disgust, imagining going to school to study on a weekend. Then I remembered that I'd been asked a question. "I don't have a watch..." It never seemed important to me to carry one round. Then I had an idea, "Wait, we can solve two problems in one go! We're in Cassie's back yard. I bet that when her parents are examining animals, they have to measure them, right? Somewhere in the house they have to have a clock too..." Without explaining any further, I let myself into the barn.

"Cassie!" I called, my eyes not yet adjusted from the bright sun outside, unable to see much. "We need to borrow a tape measure and a clock or stopwatch or something. Have you got one?" I could measure a distance and then time Sam over it- who needed a track?

The screen taunted me to press start and I did, then from the menu selected "versus" and several other options that had to do with weapons and health.Marco and I spawned in different sides of the map that resembled a gigantic maze.
-Ok marco, here I come!-I said after picking up a shotgun, first person shooters had always been my favorite videogame genre.

(SAM)

-Oh,OK- I said as Rachel ran towards Cassie's home -I'll wait here if you dont mind-
I trusted Cassie and liked the way she was with almost everyone,but it didn't felt right just to storm into her house.Maybe like she and Rachel were best friends she wouldn't mind her.

I loaded up with a machine gun and a couple grenades. Before jumping into the maze I hurled a grenade as far as I could, hoping to hit Jake.

Suddendy a grenade fell right next to me! I ran in the oposite direction trying to get out the range of the blast, but to late. BOOM!! -Darn- I whispered as I respawned and began looking for Marco, on the way I picked up a sniper rifle, then I finally spotted him, but he was too close, I couldnt get I clear shot, I just hoped he wouldnt look at my half of the screen and notice he was seconds away of being swiss cheese.

I honestly didn't expect the grnade to get him, if it had even landed near him I would have expected him to run. At this point I notice Jake was looking right at me. He always told me not to watch his screen and I told him that he can watch mine. I spun around and started shooting.

(Sorry again guys for not posting I had some things to do this weekend and because of that roleplaying goes last.)

I flapped my wings as I flew over the woods, looking around slowly just being lazy as I headed toward town, just hoping maybe I'd find anyway to help my friends as thoughs of what time it was never crossed my mind.

Marco spotted me and began shooting, he hit several times but the machine gun wasnt powerful enought to bring me down just like that, I fired, twice, the first round missed completly, the second hit him on a leg.

Just then Tom came in -Hey, whats up mutt?-He asked in the same playful tone he always dad-Hi Marco- he added giving a quick glimpse to the screen, I didnt looked up, I was too busy trying to aim-You know there are better things to do than playing videogames all afternoon-

I jogged back to Sam as quickly as I could after thanking Cassie for the items. I hurriedly stopped in front of him, holding them up.

"Sorry, I guess Cassie's dad had put them somewhere he couldn't find them easily. Where are we going to do this?" I hoped he wasn't too put out by the long time it had taken to get something so simple sorted out.

-I dont know, anywhere is good- I looked around, basically we were in an open space, we could easily find 100 metres in any direction.

-Yeah, like what?- I asked slightly annoyed at Tom for distracting me. He seemed to hessitate for a second before answering -Well you could join the Sharing, how´s that for an idea? We´re having a barbacue in the beach tonight, you could come you know?-
I gulped, we had agreed to give the sharing a peek, search for possible controllers, if Tom was attending, could he be one of them? I shaked the thought from my head.
