Once I was far away from the barn and in an isolated area, I took off my clothes put them in my backpack, and hid my backpack in a stump. Then I focused on the Osprey inside of me. The first change was my nose and mouth coming out and combining to form a beck which became as hard as a fingernail and sharp at the tip. I opened and closed it just to see how that felt, then my eyes shrunk and my vision improved. I saw the little hair that i have go back in my head as a tattoo-like pattern of feathers appeared all over my body. The patteren became 3D and I was covered in feathers, then was the shrinking internal and external i felt my bones go hollow. My feathery hands thickened as they joined with my shoulders and arms to form wings.
My toes then became razor sharp talons, then came the instincts, I had the brain of an Osprey and it wanted to go eat some fish, but my thought took over the Osprey's and I unfolded my wings, letting them get air and I jumped up. I caught onto a thermal and was shot straight up, I looked around with my amazing vision and saw the barn. I flew to a tree nearby and told the Animorphs <I will be watching the fight in Osprey morph, just in case you need any help.> I didn't want them to lose my trust.
I flew over towards Tobias, perched on a tree nearby and told him <It's me, Dru, in Osprey morph, it is the only morph I have that might be able to help the group out.>
