<Cool, I will go to the barn so no one will see me naked> I walked into the barn, and focused on myself. My Carmel-Penut butter skin, my short nappy hair, everything. I felt myself grow and while that was happening the fur on my skin was going away and my organs were reshaping and moving themselves. I looked into a puddle on the floor and saw my reflection, I was like a man-sized fur-less dog, I watched as my paws turned back in feet. My legs we're normal too, but then my mussle was being forced back into my face and my ears slid back into place. I started looking for my clothes and noticed I had a short white fuzzy tail with black fur at the tip. I focused harder and it slipped back into my body. I put on my clothes and wondered how much my life will change now, also why I will have Beagle DNA in my body for the rest of my life.

I threw him his clothes. "How was it?"

I got dressed."It was fun, but in a creepy skin-crawling way." i told Marco, "Hey do you think I will be able to get a flying morph" I said eyeing the only bird I know "Pandion haliaetus" or the Osprey as it's better known name. I did a report on them in 5th grade.

-Ok so the newbie is up to speed, we need to know what we´re up against too, did you see something? I mean something that makes David even a bigger threat than he currently was?-

"Well if you excuse me." I said walking around Jake going to the osprey's cage. I stroked its feathers and watch it go into a trance while i focused on acquiring it. "Done, I am not trying to sound rude but I need to get on my way home, or my mom will get worried." I started to walk towards the barn door.

-No, being an animorph is a full time job. How do you expect us to trust you if you cant even wait to hear something that could mean all of us ending dead?-

"I don't know much about this David guy, but when I saw him fighting Marco, he looked like a total badass, and I will not be able to take him down, if I can't even watch myself morph without getting freaked out, and how will i be able to help you guys if I can only morph into a Beagle and an Osprey. I just thought I needed to get some rest to process all of this, but I understand if it is for the "fate of the world", you call the shots, I just joined." I walked back to the bale of hay i was sitting on and sat back down. I just realized that I proved my own point and the argument that I tried to pull off was futile. Jake said being an Animorph is is a full time job, and I thought The Marines were hardcore! "Sorry, Jake I just got overwhelmed."

" Dru is completely right, Jake." I gave a reassuring smile to both boys and even gently nudged Jake's side. "How about I take him on a Gardens run and get him some of our standard issue morphs." I looked at Dru with a slight half-jokingly grin. "You know, flies, roaches, seagull.... Stuff like that."

Cassie was right about me being right. I really wanted to get use to these new thoughts and new people but it was all too strange.

"Do you have a clue where David could be right now?" I asked Jake, "Since he knows that you guys meet at the barn, he might be planning an attack on it." I didn't want David to destroy Cassie's property, and everyone on it right now.
