So..awkward question about the attractivness of Andalites
« on: October 06, 2011, 07:20:25 AM »
I was showing a friend my old Animorph collection and when we got to the Andalite Chronicles she saw Elfangor she said (This is a little rude so don't read on if easily offended) "I'd so hit that"

I thought she was joking but turned out she was deadly serious-she found the Andalite body attractive. I know they're beautiful to look at but attractive? Isn't that borderline beastiality?

(She's recently had a baby-maybe it was her hormones acting up)

Got me wondering, when Rachel and Cassie call Ax "Cute" or say one of them developed a crush on him in his natural form, would that be seen as wrong too? Did Loren and Elfangor maybe get up to stuff before he morphed human?

(I'm not implying those here who had a crush on Ax years ago are sick, for one it's his personality I assume you guys liked, were kids so sexuality probably didn't come into it, or would have been directed at his human form.)

After the war, maybe some people had romantic relationships with Andalites. Would this have been made illegal (For fear of the humans having relations with them when in natural form) or would the fact that they're not actually animals have been taken into account?

Sorry if this question seems innapropriate, sorry re spelling the spell check isn't working and I don't have a dictionary.

Well Elfangor is a bit beefier than Ax's first photo. It's understandable.

Andalites aren't animals. That said I'm not certain what category intercourse with an extraterrestrial lifeform would fall under. Exophillia perhaps? Who knows and lets leave it as PG as possible if the discussion goes on from here.

No more "wrong" than two guys falling in love with each other. Or two women. Or a man and a woman of different racial, ethnic, or social backgrounds.

It's possible for people to fall in love without being intimate.

Well being in love with someone of a different colour ect is fine by me, but they're still human. Falling in love with, or fancying a creature who isn't human but yet isn't an animal surely falls more into the immoral catagory. I mean, Andalites have four legs, fur, like an animal. So surely if it's wrong to be with an animal because it has four legs and fur shouldn't it be wrong to be with an andalite? (In natural form)

Obviously a big reason humans can't mate with animals is the consent issue, which wouldn't be a problem when it comes to andalites, being able to speak. But the animal ish appearance would be a problem surely?

its not wrong to be with an animal because of the four legs or fur, otherwise it would be wrong to be with a man from india.  the consent is the issue.  animals cannot give consent.  andalites can, and thus it is not the least bit immoral.

I didn't know that Indian men have fur.

I don't truly have an opinion, just curious. Would it be acceptable to find Ax or his kind fanciable. If I wanted to include it into my fanfic, how would I know how to write the reactions of the Ani's?

yes it would be acceptable., he is a sentient being.  the lack of mouth and possible lack of, well important parts, would make actual physical intimacy kind of akward, but then he can just morph human.

Andalites most likely have "important" parts, just KA couldn't write about them as they were books aimed at kids.

there are various threads about other species reproduction, there is no reason to believe theirs is anything like ours.

Possible, but they already were so similar to us and horses in other ways it makes sense really they'd follow that road.

slightly similar in outward appearance, not at all similar inside.

also, i am unfortunately now picturing what can only be posted as a mix of Ax and Dr. Manhattan.

LOL when i first saw that in the cinema i spat out my drink. Although interesting, this topic is slowly becoming something I was trying to steer clear from, though again very interesting in a "No I really shouldn't consider this" kind of way.  Attraction is one thing, talking about possibilities of acting out desires is for another topic, one kids can't get to!

Unless of course we speak in code

Anyway, i'm pretty sure the Ani's would find it wierd if someone admitted they fancy an andalite's natural form more than their human one. Anyone agree or disagree?

weird? yes.  immoral? no.
