When they were mophed as flies stalking Visser 3 and had just asked ax which the best way to approach an andalite was and he had replied 'from beneath' and so while they were almost on him(or under him..)Visser 3 shot out his hand - they were wondering how he had seen them and it turned out he was scratching his butt...

That could have been turned into a recurring joke.
I am a Blazing Angel. Master of deviant traps and authentic barbecue. Brothers to Rukh the banner maker, Squall the Lionhearted and Underseen the generally sort of okay.

The trash can one and all Ax's TV stuff are both good.

Tobias: Let's put it this way. If you get on my nerves, you better buy a hat.

Also The Warning, with Bear!Rachel mopping the floor.

Marco, grovelling to the Helmacrons

Ax- "I would like to shuffle my artificial hooves to the music with you.  But you cannot have my body.  My bod.  Dee. My bo.  Dee."

"How are you doing, Ax?" "I am dee-dee-dee-lirious!"

aaaah! She wants my body!
Also, many of his calm understatements make me laugh really hard.

I have WAY too many to count or be able to pick which one is number one.

The whole dance thing with Ax.  I just imagine some random kid running around, terrified, screaming "SHE WANTS MY BDEEE!" Cracks me up every time.

His whole bit in the beginning of 18.  When he walks in and is like "yeah, I got this!" when he tries to get a job to buy cinnamon buns.  Then ends up looking totally crazy and almost kills himself eating cinnamon buns.  I really really wish they did the scene with the paramedics, which Marco said they sent in.

Then there are always his calmly stated death jokes.  "Oh, if the Yeerks want you all to die they'll just burn away your atmosphere."  "Nah, you won't hit the lava, you'll burn up before you hit it."

But the Taxxon one was the best.  <In a manner of speaking, one half is eating the other.>  I laughed so hard at that.  I might be a bad person.

Not the exact quote, but it was something like this:

This is quite possibly the worst thing I have ever smelled,

I believe the smell is causing me to become deranged. I may have to run away in panic. :rofl2:

Really, if you think about being someone random that just happened to meet Ax in public...it really takes the hilarity to a whole new level.

I mean, I can imagine being someone sitting across from the Animorphs in the food court watching Ax play with his words and eating with food all over his face and going.  0_o..."someone clean the kids face and give him a damn fork!  Where the hell is his parents?"

Pretty much any of Ax's exclamations because the vocabulary is still totally deadpan even though it's delivered in a high and excited voice.

"I MERELY WISH TO ENJOY THE BROWN GLOBULES!"

But the funniest excerpt in my opinion, just for how brilliant (and applicable to real life) it is, is the following involving Jake and Marco;

"You have a topic?"
"I've already written three pages. What do you mean, do I have a topic?"
"So. Do you have a topic?"
"A topic will... emerge. I'm just going to write until I discover a topic. The topic will rise from these pages. It will reveal itself to me. I just have to keep writing."
"Hey, here's a topic for you -- the use of total bull in the writing of English papers."
"I am the master of bull. Three pages so far and I haven't said a single thing."
"Topic -- the use of rhetoric to obscure a lack of content."

I remember how so many people's minds were blown by that flawless summary of Total Bullpoopy. Good times :3

The store was closed, but the salesman said he could wait if we hurry.
But we were delayed en route when a stingray in front of us killed a pedestrian.

But it is TRUE!  100% true, and I have an English BA, that's how I know it's true.

You start out your first 101 class, with the teacher going "the red apple symbolizes sin" and you say "Um...I'm pretty sure it's a freakin' apple, it probably symbolized that the character was hungry because he was eating it."

Then after five years and endless classes of brainwashing you into seeing imaginary symbols and meanings you end up with an obsessive need to analyze EVERY SINGLE THING YOU READ.  *points to my dissertation on #9*

 :'( There's no hope for me...is there...

"Hey Joe... Is that a bear?"
"Yeah...yeah, that's a bear..."
"Is it ... mopping?"
"yeah it is..."
"Are we crazy?"
"No. No, it's the bear up there that's crazy. That up there is carpeted."

Cracks me up evertyime!

Also, the part where V3 cuts off the costumed-guy's head and freaks out over the 'second head' inside was hilarious. XD

I don't remember the guy being called Joe.

Quote
"Is that a bear?"
"Yeah."
"Is it mopping the floor?"
"Uh-huh."
"Have we gone nuts?"
"I'm not nuts. It's the bear who's nuts. That's carpeted up there."

"You have a topic?"

Cassie had this funny moment where she was talking about how she slightly modifies the names of the bands she likes so her mom wouldn't become disapproving of her choices. She mentioned a few of them, but the one that made me laugh is the one she came up for Nine Inch Nails - Nice is Neat. I just... I mean seriously, what the hell kind of band would have that name? It would've actually been less suspicious if she left it unchanged.

There was a wonderful moment in Visser, too. It's when Edriss 562 lands on Earth for the first time with her companion, and to get a heads-up on what was going on she decides to listen through some of the transmissions going on around her.

And then, to my horror, I began to see evidence that human military potential was far greater than anything I'd expected: In some of the television data they possessed nuclear fusion explosives. And in other data they were shown using highly effective, adjustable-intensity beam weapons they called "phasers."

"Faster-than-light spacecraft? Faster-than-light through real space? Impossible!" Essam said, looking over my shoulder. "And armed with beam weapons?"

"How do they manage to get visual records of ships moving at faster-than-light speeds? See, there! The ship is announced to be moving at Warp-Factor Six, which we know from context is a multiple of light speed. And yet there we see the ship from the outside as though the recording device too, is moving at these impossible speeds."

I just love how it slowly dawned on me as I was reading through that excerpt what it was that they were actually watching!
The store was closed, but the salesman said he could wait if we hurry.
