Does anyone remember Jake, or anyone else, calline Cassie Cass before the final arc? I remember Cassie saying that Jake doesn't call her Cass anymore. When did he ever?

He didn't.

Quote
Jake always called me Cassie. Never Cass like
Ronnie did.

lol, a very good point Agent. I suppose for places like the Yeerk Pool, they were too arrogant to think that they needed cameras, especially as they have other advanced technology installed, such as killer robots and bio-filters.

As for other locations (eg. The Sharing or other human companies) the Animorphs were simply smart enough to morph before entering the buildings.

All of the technology they implemented was specific in that it was isolated. Like gleet biofilters only need to be at entrances, killer robots just kind of floated around. They covered the whole place, but they couldn't cover the whole area at once. I imagine the yeerk pool was so large that the amount of tapes they would need to check to see ever corner would be rediculous
Until then we fight.

I was reading a thread once where they were talking about why the Ellimist didn't make Tobias a morph capable Human again. Someone asked the question "How would that not have blown his cover?", as if to say that it would definitely have done so. I don't remember if anyone answered the question, or who asked, or where the thread is. But I can't imagine it blowing his cover at all.

Yes, he'd be a homeless Human, likely living with Ax like Marco does later in the series. There are people who would recognise him, but the "I'm a runaway" story should stick pretty well. I don't see a big security risk in that.

So the question is, that if Tobais was made a Human with morphing power instead of a Hawk with morphing power, how might that blow his/their cover?

There's no one definite answer, so this might've been better as its own thread...

Quote from: Animorphs #13
"You want me to lead these Hork-Bajir to this place you've put in my
head? Fine. But I want to get paid for my services."

"And what do you want, Tobias?"

"You know what I want," I said, almost choking on the words. "You know."

"Yes. But do you know what you want, Tobias?" the Ellimist asked. "And
if you get it, will you still know?"

...

THE ANDALITE GAVE YOU POWER. USE IT.

I was too insane with terror to figure out what he was saying at first.
Then it dawned on me. <What? What? That's my reward? That's all? You're giving me back my morphing power?>

IT'S WHAT YOU WANTED.

So I think the reason why Tobias was still a hawk is because he didn't want to be a human anymore.

I agree with that. I was just wondering why someone would think him going back to Human would blow his cover.

Maybe he subconsciously didn't want to be human because his human life sucked.

And if you want to discuss this subject, please make another thread for it.

Yes, he did. In some of the first books. I know I have seen it but I don't remember right now.

This is my question.
Is Erek pretending to be a voluntary controller or... *sorry, I don't know the English word, but you know what I mean*?

Involuntary would be the word. He's probably pretending to be voluntary. It would make less of a scene, and be less likely to harm others. After all, involuntaries struggle and try to get away. There is some risk of the captors being harmed by struggling involuntaries.

As another note, the limited freedom of being voluntary could work with him.

I think in book 10, he says he "agreed" to become a voluntary controller.

Been a long time since I read it, but I believe you're correct.
