It's never explicitly said "the blue box won't work" except in 53.
We take it on the implication, because otherwise being trapped in morph won't be a big deal for the Andalites, so long as you had someway to get back home and touch another box, but it's never out and out stated.

What color are dracon beams and shredders? I always pictured shredders as blue and dracon as red (I guess because of Star Wars) but does it actually say the color anywhere?

I recall them being red (dracon) and gree (shredder), but don´t quote me on that

I always pronounced them DRUH-COON. But for years and years I pronounced Visser as VEYE-ZER and Hork Bajir and Hork BAYJ-ER so...

Also I'm pretty sure they were red and green but I'll have to look to make sure.

Maybe a dumb question but if Visser One is more powerful than Visser Three and doesn't like him why can't she have him executed or whatever?

As messed up as politics are, I don't think they're allowed to just execute other Vissers. She needs a good reason, and apparently he was having enough success on Earth that he actually got promoted above Visser 2 when she gopt executed.

Well Visser Three killed subordinates at the drop of a hat. Might have been different though if he tried to kill say, Visser Four

I believe it would be. It may have said somewhere that this flagrant "you have failed me, now die" attitude is frowned upon, but his past victories have made them overlook that. If he did kill a high ranking Visser, I doubt they'd sweep that under the rug.

How come the Animorphs never tried to acquire the Ellimist (probably wouldn't work but worth a try)

Because from what the Animorphs saw/experienced, the Ellimist didnt really have a body. Im pretty sure he says to them the first time they meet that he just shows them some form they can relate to and not really his body. Also he can bend time and space, Im sure the Animorphs knew that if they even tried he'd just freeze time or something
