Consider them equal the holiday specials of a tv series: they're fun, but if skip over them you're not missing anything critical to the plot
But if you still want to read and can't get a hand on them check out the ebooks

On the prior subject I wanna chip in: how much sense does it any host choice make: Two of the council are taxxon's yes? do they simply like be caught up in the endless hunger, or is there some other reason that  any one has any given choice regardless of rank? who knows

I can only assume they like being Taxxons for some bizarre reason.

Maybe the Taxxon hunger isn't so intolerable when you have an endless supply of meat and Gedd heads being served to you.

How tall are Andalites supposed to be in relation to a Hork-Bajir? I think I remember reading Hork-Bajir are around 7 feet or something.
And in that moment, I swear we were infinite.

I think Andalites are closer to Human height at ~6 feet. Hork-Bajir are 7-9 feet tall.

Hork-Bajir are not 7-9 feet tall. O.o They're 7 feet tall. Nowhere does it say they get taller than that.

What about book 5, where the gold banded Hork was bigger than the guards? Plus not all Human adults are exactly 6 feet tall. I don't think all Horks are exactly 7 feet tall, even if they were all genetically modified creatures. The Blue Bands are said to have bigger blades than normal, but I'm not sure if they are taller than normal.

I think most Human adults range from 5-7 feet tall, which is the main reason I said Horks are 7-9 feet tall.

"Bigger" does not necessarily mean "2 feet taller." O.o There's absolutely nothing in the books that would suggest that. Or that adult Hork-Bajir have the same kind of height range that humans have. They're different species. Comparing the two doesn't really work that well.

I don't really want to comb through the series to try to find something that says X Hork was taller than 7 feet, ao I'll agree to disagree. The average height of a Hork is 7 feet.

I think it's possible a Hork-Bajir could be over 7 feet, even if 9 does seem a little tall. I think variation of height for them wouldn't really matter that they're different species. I mean wasn't Toby smaller than "the average Hork-Bajir?" Anyways, the Andalites had varying heights as well. Like Gafinilan was described by Marco as huge in comparison to Alloran and Elfangor.

Thanks guys!

Are you counting the horn? The books tended to say 7 height tall-but about 8 if counted the head blades

How old were the Animorphs in the last book?
