"Yes," Serid responds to Mike flatly.

Illim turns his head to smile at his former host. "Hello, by the way. From myself and Derrel."

The stare with which Serid regards Illim is stoic, but the question in his expression is clear: Why bother to say hello when none of us has departed yet? Then the nothlit shakes his head with a sigh, as if berating himself for not expecting as much from Illim--always one for wasting time and distractions.

The two men pass through the doorway, emerging into the gravel-pockmarked land just outside the Bar.

<<It seems Mr. Spock is only with us for business. Not pleasure.>>

Simon made his way casually towards the door, looking out through it as he left it cracked open. Hopefully the shade would conceal him if they looked back directly into the gap. It looked like they were heading towards the shipyard.

Mike trudges along, passing Illim and Serid and hurrying along in the direction of the Skimmer.

<<Mike, I do wish you would answer your damn hail,>> Corliss mutters irritably.  He sighs, remaining connected to the computer, which makes it difficult for him to talk to Terenia in sonar.

~Ossanlin~

Ossanlin sees multiple people depart from the bar, Mike at the forefront, an dhe makes his way in the same direction.  It was quite a procession to say the least.

Garreth was about to repeat his earlier questions when the life-less lifeform sat beside them and offered its greetings. The particular greeting it gave was foreign, which was to be expected, but it seemed to assume that its greeting would be recognized. It gave its name as "Al" and extended its hand for Garreth to shake. Human mannerisms, Human humor, Human respect, however this being is far from Human. 'Al'... Could it be an actual name, or perhaps its a convenient naming of an Artificial Intelligence construct. To reciprecate the polite gesture, Garreth took hold of the being's hand. It felt as though he was squeezing a fleshly hand, though forcefields could be manipulated to simulate the appropriate give and take of the pressure of Human muscles. The "voice" with which it spoke was surprisingly Human as well. No grating or mechanical sound what-so-ever. Though many droids can replicate Human speech perfectly; the mechanical tone is programmed so they "naturally" sound like what they are, a machine.

Garreth lets go of the lifeform's hand and nods his head in a bow saying, "Greetings to you as well... Al," it gave a name, it would be rude not to use it, "though I know not of what a 'Kandrona' is." When "Al" spoke of Zorish's sister, he tilted his head to look at Zorish, "'Sister'? Would this be one of your hundreds of brethren; or is he speaking of your host's sibling?"

Garreth was greatful for the change of topic; perhaps this interruption would allow him to excuse himself and converse with his fellow Jedi; however he was still interested in finding more about the Yeerks' ascension into space, and he was also curious toward what exactly the lifeform named "Al" seemed to be. Dispite all appearances, this life-less lifeform was not Human.

Zorish heaves a slightly melodramatic sigh. "My host's sibling," he responds impatiently. "And no, there has been no further development. She is not my primary concern here anyways, just an unfortunate twist of space and time. She should not even exist. As it is, all her presence is doing is upsetting my host."

<<Perhaps it is for the best,>> Efaen offers, following Ossanlin. <<I do not know what this procedure will entail. You may not want to watch.>>

Terenia finally calms herself enough to return to the computer console and reconnect. Her "voice" is shaky. <<Sorry,>> she murmurs to Corliss. <<I guess I'm just nervous.>>

Al ****ed his head at Garreth- the man hadn't given his name. That wasn't unusual, in Al's experience. Most Furka-goers didn't expect to be able to remember much by the next morning, so often giving names was a waste of breath. He definitely wasn't Yeerk, though, having not recognized the word "Kandrona."

He shrugged, "Yeerk thing. No big. So what brings you to this little bar?" He paused, "Ah, I've got something I think you'll both enjoy."

He waved the bartender over and ordered a round of drinks for all three of them- a particular Turken whiskey- made from distilled Turken- that was full of flavor but a bit short on alcohol. He wasn't about to try to get these two drunk... or in Zorish's case, drunker. She already seemed a bit tipsy, at least.

He turned to Zorish and smiled, "Yeah, well, depending on how you look at it, this whole bar is just one unfortunate twist in space and time. At least the drink selection is good."

Keshin notices Salem rather quickly and smiles in a casual way. He was actually glad to see someone in this Bar for a change. This man had been crazy enough to hide them onboard his ship. "Hey, come on. Take a load off. You did us a very big favor back when most of the Space Bar wanted us dead. We've been....fine. The rebellion can only disrupt us for so long, and to us it's been weeks. If you need any help, you know who to ask."

<You sure we should be offerin' this bloke that?>

<Joanne, he saved our lives. The least we can do is buy him a drink.>

<I dunno. He seems to get tangled up in problems a lot. 'Bout as bad as Terenia, really. I mean how the 'ell did he get mixed up with us earlier?>

<Nobody else is that bad.>

<Point taken. But watch it, Kess.>

Keshin adjusts himself so that he's looking through his peripheral vision at the Bar door. Just in case. His gun was ready, but Salem seemed ready to slow down regardless. Joanne was being paranoid.

Mar takes a long sip of glass as he glances at the Bar patrons. Salem the trader was busy with the bounty hunter, eliciting a groan from Mar. Almost everywhere there had been trouble, that bounty hunter had also been present. This suggested that bothering them wouldn't be a wise move: those two attracted nearly as many difficulties as Terenia. Mar's opinion on Terenia ranged from extremely amused to extremely irritated. She fed his lust for drama, certainly. But she complicated the lives of those that were important in various ways to him.

This train of thought is  why he was surprised to spot two other people wearing Terenia's skin. He had the sense that this was an important detail----that either he'd met them briefly or someone had mentioned Terenia having a "sister." In his altered state, the details seemed less important. Still, someone with a regal bearing in uniform? Hmm. Mar frowned and sat up, wandering over to their table cautiously.

"Excuse me," stated the Highest, his expression unreadable. "You...resemble an irritant I have met. But you do not seem like her or her slave."

For a long while after her companions departed Ewa simply propped her head on her hand and stared.  Her features settled into an expression of boredom relieved only by a calculating tilt to her eyes.  Superficially, she seemed to hide a sharp perusal of the bar's clientel, but her mind wandered its own paths with little attention to the scene.  What is the point of all this?  When I first got here it seemed badly structured, but now I wonder if there's any structure at all.  There must be some kind of advantage to leaving things this way, but......  Ewa sighed and closed her eyes for a long moment.  It would be nice to have at least one trustworthy person still here.  The thought held more weariness than longing.

When she opened her eyes again she twitched her mouth into a half smirk.  Life's always easier when amused.  Now that she was paying attention she noticed that many of the patrons had left, leaving only smaller knots of conversation.  Keshin was talking with the fake cowboy who must have returned at some point. Good idea.  He seemed inclined to get on everyone's nerves.  A larger group was forming over at one of the booths.  Ewa recognized Al and the blond subvisser.  There was also a man in a brown cloak was new to her though.  I wouldn't mind talking to Al again.

She was still on her way over when a vaguely familiar looking fop also joined the group.  Ewa approached just in time to hear him address the group.

"Excuse me," stated the Highest, his expression unreadable. "You...resemble an irritant I have met. But you do not seem like her or her slave."

Ewa gave him a brief side-long look, but his face seemed emotionless so she turned away again.  "Subvisser," she nodded respectfully to the blond woman, then politely to the man in the brown robe.  "Hello again," she smiled at Al.  She pulled a chair over next to him, twisted it around backwards and sat with her arms propped up on the back of the chair.  Her eyes traveled between the Subvisser and the fop expectantly.

When "Al" mentioned the greeting he used was of Yeerk origin, Garreth nodded in understanding. The bartender placed three drinks on the table and shortly after, two more people joined the group. The first to join was an odd looking fellow and held an even more odd accent. The thing that bothered Garreth the most was nothing visible. This man "felt" wrong, dangerous. Garreth looked over him primarily with his milky-white eye. The stranger's aura was covered in darkness. This was beyond anything having to do with the Force; it wasn't a taint, or a corruption. It was almost as if he were pure darkness himself. Garreth swallowed hard and stood saying to "Al" and Zorish, "Excuse me, however this booth seems to have gotten rather," his eyes darted instinctually toward the strange man, "crowded." With that said, he walked away from the table.

He walked by the woman as she gathered a chair to sit by "Al" and gave her a slight bow as he passed saying, "Excuse me." He walked to the bar and sat next to the Jedi that had entered not long after himself. He asked the bartender for another Tarisian Ale. The bartender placed his order before him. He raised the drink before his lips and instead of drinking it, he spoke aloud so the other Jedi could hear him, "Emotion, yet peace. Ignorance, yet knowledge. Passion, yet serenity..." After speaking, he looked toward the Jedi, though he didn't turn to actually look at him, awaiting a response.

~Raile~

Raile senses the presence of the other as he nears.  Despite himself he tenses, but then forces his muscles to relax again.  Though they had been betrayed, it hadn't been Jedi that had killed his former master.

He keeps his eyes on his drink as the stranger begins reciting the Jedi mantra, albeit the less-popular version.  Perhaps he is older than he appears, or perhaps he had merely had a long-lived and aged master as a padawan.

"There is no chaos, there is harmony...there is no death, there is the Force."  He finishes the mantra and allows his eyes to travel up to look at the Jedi who had taken the seat next to him.  He does his best to control his emotion...a knight was expected to be serenity incarnate, even in the heat of battle.  His efforts are somewhat in vain though as the smallest of smiles breaks across his face before the mask of calm returns.  The joy and relief at hearing those words from another is exceptionally profuse.  "I am glad to hear those words beyond the outer rim, especially under the circumstances."

Garreth smiled when the mantra was finished. The Jedi had finished it with the standardized version. A good version, but Garretth had always preferred the original. Granted the version brought on by Master Ordan-Urr was a little easier to understand; but once understood, the original just felt more natural. After receiving the expected response, he turned and met the other Jedi's eyes. As he sat, it was his "bad" eye that looked upon him first. He could feel a slight battle with this Jedi's emotions, though he held himself together well. The Jedi spoke first and Garreth nodded in response. He replied, "Indeed. This is certainly a trying time. I sense for you especially." He extended his hand and said, "I am Garreth Rob of Dantooine. May I ask what troubles you so?"

~Raile~

Raile studies the other Jedi's face in detail and one of his eyes appears to be injured, a massive scar crossing his face in its vicinity, but he senses no pain coming from his comrade.  An old wound apparently.  He extends his hand and grasps the other's forearm.  "I am Raile Merced...originally of Corellia."  He pauses, assuming strict control of his emotions before going on.  This was supposed to be ingrained in the very nature of a Knight of course, the fact that he sometimes still has to make a conscious effort at control is a sign Raile sees that he is as yet unworthy of the rank of Knight conferred upon him by the Council.

He holds the other Jedi's gaze as he speaks.  "You...don't know?"  He furrows his brow.  "We cannot return to Coruscant, or perhaps even the outer rim.  The Republic itself has turned against the Jedi.  Our clone battallion turned on us without waring.  My old master returned to the Force in order to buy the time necessary for my escape.  I had nearly made it back to Coruscant when the recall transmission from the temple changed to warn away all Jedi from returning.  They hunt us now...I was found even on Dantooine."  He falls silent, waiting to hear his comrade's reaction to the news.

When Raile mentioned the planet from which he was born, Garreth smiled and said, "Ah, one of the five brothers." Then he began to tell him what had him conflicted. Garreth's face turned concerned when he asked if he knew of the current situation. When he spoke of the Republic turning on the Jedi, Garreth became interested. He then spoke of a "Clone battallion", and Garreth's face turned to confusion. He listened intently to the rest of his story slightly diconnected. His face returned to being neutral. At the end of his story, Garreth asked, "What year is it for you? As for myself, it is 21,080 After the Galactic Constitution. I fear you may be from a different Time than I. I don't know of any "clone battallion"s. The Republic is currently under attack by the Mandalorians, they're currently asking for our help; they would only suffer more by betraying us."

Zorish flinches as there is a sudden influx of undesired occupants at his table. Clearly the patrons of this bar did not understand when one wanted to be left alone.

<<And so many questions and comments about that damned sister of yours,>> Zorish sneers inwardly. <<She must have caused quite a disturbance.>>

<<She always was the troublemaker in the family,>> Tamora offers dryly, trying to push back the part of her that still desperately wants to figure out how her sister could be here, how she could be alive, and how the hell she could be a Yeerk, of all things.

"You are perceptive," Zorish says to Mar, sneering only a little. "I presume you are referring to Teresa, or as it seems she is known here, Terenia. Last I checked she was aboard one of the Skimmer class ships outside." Her upper lip curls slightly in frustration as the one occupant he was beginning to gain interest in - Garreth - slid out of the booth and excused himself.

<<I shall need to investigate his universe further,>> he murmurs, making a mental note to approach the Jedi once he had more full control of his faculties. He returns his attention to Mar. "Everyone seems to have something to say about that idiot child," he says, repeating his earlier thoughts. "Why? What importance does she have here?"

When Ewa joins them he nods at her, but says nothing. He does scoot the glass of alcohol offered by Al in her direction, though. He has no intention of drinking any further.
