Dom snorts good naturedly. "I prefer the other type, if you catch my drift," he says with a leer, sipping the drink his new artificial acquaintance offered. He glances back in that direction, but Al seems to be preoccupied with the sudden intrusion upon the bar. "Very well," Dom says with a sigh. "I will stay here for the time being. But you best make it worth my while, my friend."

Terenia rolls her eyes a little. "Right, so, I'm going to go be depressed in a different corner, if it's all the same to you," she mutters, pulling herself to her feet.

<<Aw, come on. Dom is fun,>> Esreth protests, though she does not leap into control.

<<I'm not in the mood for fun,>> Terenia snaps in response, scanning the bar for somewhere out of the way.

Simon saw that Austin was apprently deep in thought, and felt like going back to the bar. "Well I'm going back to see the others. Feel free to get back in touch with me if you want.

We entered the building, and noticed some things had changed. There was an injured person in armor, but he seemed to be looked after. Terenia was getting up from a table to leave. Instead of following her, he decided to sit with Gene and the other new person.

"We're back guys. Who missed us?" He asked jokingly. "Are you guys making a new friend, or meeting an old acquaintance?" He asked of Dom.

Dom's dark eyebrows raise. "Gene, you did not tell me you were actually being social," he says, shooting the other man a grin before offering his hand to the newcomer. His fingernails are perfectly manicured, somehow. "Dominic Ticak, it is a pleasure to meet you, moj prijatelj. And you are?"

"The name is Simon. I also have a little guy in my head named Jocun." He said, shaking Dom's hand. "Yeah I've talked to them some. Mostly to Terenia and Esreth. Esreth is a bit easier to talk to, but Terenia is no less enjoyable. I've been hanging out with a guy that had a rough entry for a bit. It looks to me like his method is shared by others. May I sit?"

"Go right ahead," Dom says, gesturing to the empty side of the booth. "My own headmate is Reyliss, but she tends to stay quiet." His smile is broad. "I have enough personality for both of us, she says. As for Terenia...she just needs to learn how to loosen up a bit, hm?"

He eyes Simon for a moment. "What are you drinking? Your next is on me."

"I appreciate the offer. I think I feel like whiskey and coke at the moment." Simon said, sitting down. Jocun took over after that. "This is Jocun. I'm glad to see a friendlier side to the rebel people. I come from a future that was greatly influenced by your people, so I feel like I've gone into the past to meet historical figures. In my time people that treat their hosts as equals are actually in the majority. Though I'm still Simon's employer, so we have a more professional relationship with each other."

Dom waves the sullen bartender over, placing the order and putting it on his tab.

When Jocun mentions being from the future Dom looks at him with renewed interest. "Do you not find it a tad dangerous, going back in time and talking to people from your own past?" he asks conversationally, brushing a bit of nonexistent dust from his suit. "I mean, what if your presence effectively changes my future, and therefore your past?"

"It's a risky endeavor to be sure. I still haven't figured out if this is really my past, or an elternate dimension. Of course since the war is still going on, there are people who still dislike Yeerks and Imperials as a whole. I do try to be careful and not change anything. I assume some patrons know what kind of place this is, and there's an underlying assumption that the risk of altering timelines and other dimensions is a risk worth taking. That is of course if you believe timeline changes don't just create splits, instead of altering one line. If it creates splits, then my life won't really be altered. Personally I don't know which it is."

Dom laughs. "I do not know either, nor do I care," he says with a dismissive wave. "Although technically, if you were attempting to change things as little as possible, it would not do to go about merely announcing that you are from the future, now would it? Ah well, the damage is done. Now you have no choice but to answer the most critical question about the future."

He takes a sip of his drink, watching Jocun with bright, teasing eyes. "How good are the parties where...excuse me, when you are from?" he asks.

"Saying I'm from the future is kind of a safety procedure in case someone finds out I'm an imperial. especially since I blurted out that I was one when I first got here, before I found out I landed in a place where the war was still happening. I'm a good imperial from the future, though, so I hope to get fewer bad looks and more socializing done."

"The parties? Well there are a lot of parties. Some very interesting, where the different interspecies cultures mix. There's a very nice holiday party on a moon between earth and the Hork-Bajir home world where they mix a few things of both. Alcohol, swinging from heights, and drunken songs using Human and Hork-Bajir instruments is quite fun to watch, and sometimes partake in. It's also fun to see Leerans play sports. Everyone knows what everyone else is doing for the whole thing, and it can get both epic and confusing. Andalites can have a good time too, but they tend to be a bit more reserved."

~Ossanlin~

Ossanlin furrows his brow and glances around the bar with his stalk eyes before speaking again.  <<Have you had the Tyrennian's medical officer examine you?  If these nano-bots have reactivated, there could be some very serious threats to your health involved.>>

<I haven't had anyone examine me. I didn't really tell anyone exactly what I thought happened, as it would require a fair bit of explaining, and I feared they wuldn't believe my story anyway. You were there for some of what happened, so it's ore believable for you.> Claxter said. <I suppose I could go back and try to explain everything. I'm not sure if they'll be able to remove the technology completely. I know the Alvie taking over is the worst case scenario, but I also wouldn't want to be quarantined indefinitely by Andalite Command either.>

'Sounds good' Austin said with an eager grin, itching to try out his new toy. 'I guess I'll follow you then?' he said as he caught up with Simon, laser rifle in hand.

"Austin, this is Dominic and Gene, and the woman over there is Terenia. Guys, this is Austin." Simon said when Austin came back. "I was hanging out with Gene and Terenia before you showed up, and Dominic's a new arrival. Also what he has is a firearm we were just working on, since he needs something to protect himself from the rougher individuals. Actually, did we make a holster for that thing, austin? I should have thought of that."

There is a brief hesitation before Amber's voice replies, "Tell me exactly who and what you are, and who you work for, and maybe I'll consider your offer." The woman's voice is low, guarded, and there is a good chance that she is not the only one now listening in on the feed.

Gene smirks at Dom. "I can be social sometimes, you know," he says loftily, watching with a bit of a pout as Terenia stalks off. "See, now if you keep scaring my friends away, I'm not going to have very much luck with that sort of thing."

He blinks up at Austin as the man arrives. "Gene Tannenbaum," he says, giving a little wave at the side of his head, his salute springing away from his curly hair.
