"Any plans today?" Mom asked.
"Nope."
"Your brother's going out." She said.
"Ah."
"Why don't you think about joining a youth group?"
I gave her a look that said, really? We're having this conversation again?. "It's not for me."
"I'm just saying that your brother's met a lot of friends through the group. You should at least think about it."
I rolled my eyes. "Yea...I'll make a note of it." I told her, somewhat defensively.
After breakfast, I headed back up to my room to change into some clean clothes. As I was about to pull down my jeans, I remembered my iPhone was still in my pocket. And that's when I remembered that I had recorded the events from the previous night!
I pulled out my iPhone, deactivated the passcode, and pressed my index finger on the little irecord app box.
I listened in silence...
Only to get silence...
Then...voices--Josh, Caleb, Jessi, Chris...All of us, really.
