RAF Can Morph! (Read Introduction Before Posting)

I backed behind the door so if it opened I would be seen.

     My brother was too close to the room. I needed to get there before he did. Had to demorph.

     I did something very un-Charlie like. I bit my brother on the ankle.

     "ArrrrrrgggggggHeell! What the hell! Charlie!" He snapped, shaking his leg to throw me off. I bit harder, forcing him on to his knees.

     I loosened my grip on my brother's ankle and ran up towards my bedroom door.

     <Someone open the door! I'm coming in!>

I opened the door just enough so he could get in. I closed it after he did.

     Had to demorph and fast.

     Chris closed the door behind me. I could already hear my brother getting up. He was really mad now.

     I focused on my human body--I'm pretty sure that's how we were supposed to demorph.

     The fur covering my body started to shoot back into my skin.

I locked the door to give James time and tossed his clothes near him.

His brother was walking up the stairs? James' brother?

Oh god...

As James warned us, Chris hid behind the door. I couldn't find any place, so I used my somewhat smallness to squirm under his bed. Kind of strange, sure, but James didn't really even know me, much less hang out with me. If his brother saw me it would raise suspicion, even just a little. And there was his bed...

From under I watched as Chris opened the door for James. And as James demorphed, I looked away. Apparently you can't morph clothes.

James' brother was coming up to the room! I looked for a place to hide but then decided I would look more suspicious if I hid from him so I decided I'd better just do what I do best and think on my feet when he gets here. I looked away while James demorphed because we can't morph clothes, which is very unfortunate for when we need to go places.

I stared out from under the bed...waiting...wai ting...things always seemed to take longer when you were afraid.

What if his brother spotted me? Was he one of them? Would it be LESS suspicious to be on the bed? Maybe I should morph?

He wont see you. The chances are small that he's a controller. You should stay hidden, and NO, NO, NO! Morph? You idiot...

There you go, arguing with yourself again...

I closed my eyes momentarily to clear my head. Then I went back to being as quiet as I could.

     I had completed the morph back to my human body. I was naked, but human again. I managed to get all my clothes back on when my younger brother opened the door.

     "Ever hear of knocking?" I snapped.

     "Knocking? Knocking? Your demon dog just bit me!" He shouted. "Look at my ankle!"

     He pulled down his socks and revealed a rather large bite mark. It wasn't bleeding, but it did look really raw. I'd have to explain that one to mom later on, because my brother was probably going to whine about it some more.

     "Well you must have done something to piss Charlie off." I told him, all the while catching glimpses of Caleb and Chriss in their various hiding places.

     "Who's this?" My brother nodded at Shaun.

     "No one." I said, quickly. "Guy from school."

     He eyed Shaun for a bit. "Never seen him before."

     "Well he was just dropping something off." I mumbled. "What's it to you? Do I ever interrogate you when your friends come over?"

     "Whatever." My brother replied. "Just keep the freaking dog on a leash or something."

     He walked out.

Caleb sighed a breath of relief as James' brother left. He wriggler out from under the bed.

"That was too close.", I said.

I waited until James' brother was  down the stairs to close the door and come out of hiding. "That was really close. What are you going to tell you parents about biting your brother?"

     I sighed, wearily.

     "No idea." I said. "I'll probably just tell them he spooked Charlie, or something."

[RAFrukh]

Caleb nodded, "That sounds normal. Dogs do that. Maybe he just wanted to play?"

He looked around, "So...now what? Oh, right. We're waiting for Jessi."

"I'm going to have leave if she doesn't show soon. My family will be wondering where I am. My mom was asleep when I told I was leaving." I shrugged.

I nodded slowly...,"Yea, I told my parents I was just going for a walk. I should be home in a few minutes."
