Okay guys, I used to scratch a few poems in my younger days. I got really good for awhile in highschool and a few of my poems were very highly ranked in my poetry class. That said, it has been several years since I've written a single verse and so I'm rather rusty. Try to Enjoy these meager poetic offerings.

"Awaken"

A single Breath,
Like the kiss of the wind,
Brings me into the world again and I see with eyes Anew.

My Eyes,
Like crystals in the sun,
shine bright as Jewels as the world enters my veiw.

The World,
look at it move,
A livinging hive of glorious life.

whole.

New.

Complete.

I smile at the beatiful world,
As Finally,
I awaken.

Edit: That was horrible poetry LoL. My next one MUST be better.

Here Are a few of my old poems, not my best work, but passable.

"Fish Food"

As simple as the world could be,
my world is filled with intriuge.
Dancing here and hither thus,
an idea roams about my head.
Like a fish in the sea it swims,
unaware of the panic it has caused.

It's fly jump splash semds ripples through my mind.
An untamed thing,
vicious but tame in it's intention.
This fish-pest-thought is my graceful torturer.
The one wich all the world loves.
Change he brings,
but at what cost?
A human mind.

"Beach time epiphany"

Hate love pain joy,
all emotions made known to me,
flap,flap,flap
as I stare into that eye,
I know the meaning of the world,
of place,
of time,
all these things hidden in a dying seagulls eye.

Another Oldie but Goodie, this is my favorite out of the ones I've posted so far:

"Hear-"

Hear--
Clip clop, clip clop, Deaths horse does ride.
Hear--
Hear the screams—
Agony, life worse than death
The hospital is deaths ground.

Floating casket, no captain only death at the helm.
Hear—
Mothers weeping filled with pain.
Starving children pass away.

Fathers final absence
Hear—
Children’s dreams die screaming,
Forced to grow up fast.
All the while in fickle world,
Torn itself apart
Gone mad!

OOH I like those!! They're good you shouls post more!!

And mine which you begged for:

Night Calls
The night sings like a chorus,
The brook sings them to sleep.
I never want to leave them
For they are mine to keep.

What do you do when a leaf attacks you?

You can:
Hit it with a rake
Try to run it over with the lawn mower
Run
Play dead
Hide in your bed
Cover yourself with paint
Or you just might faint.

"War poem"

The hiss of gas,
the sound of guns,
were back where it was all begun.

Random terrorists in the streets,
we suffer nothing but defeat after defeat,
The place, the time,
this whole thing is a faceless ryme moving through the cosmos.

shoulder my rifle,
take a quick drink,
another second to live another second to think.

I don't know who I am just why i'm here,
I'm a soilder,
ready to die for you my dear.

"Together"

A pack,
a pride,
a pod,
a coalition.

Fight for food,
claim mastery.
These members are safe.

but one daring animal,
timid-brave,
fearful-courage,
ventures out.

Go out,
battle,
dodge,
flee,
emerges a new kingdom and king,
Timid-Brave.

This is a joke poem I decided to make out of some skype comments, it isn't even an ode.

"Ode to Pokey!"

HEY POKEY,
YOU MARVELOUS ASUSTRALIAN WONDER GIRL,
YOU FOXY FOX YOU!

Pokey, you remind me of angels,
of breathing,
of the sun on a cloudy day.

Ode to pokey, my hot Australian Wonder Babe.

This is an ode I wrote to Rad. It was commissioned and paid for by pokey after she read the one I wrote about her. It isn't a true Ode and is kind of cliche-y, but it was the best I could do on very short notice. Pokey, You wanted it on RAF, so here it is:

“Ode to Rad”

Oh Dearest Rad for you my eyes are filled with love
your heart is graceful and free
your wit fits you like a silken glove,
and your darling eyes capture me
To see you is like looking at an angel
so full of life's holy fire
like a greek goddess wearing flesh
so sweet and sleek and beautiful from every angle
When I hear her voice it brings me out of my earthly mire
And in that moment life feels so fresh.

Your voice is so very much like music
precious and valuable, you've a laugh like gold
when you call I answer right quick
and your Audio drama comments never get old
When you roleplay it's like watching beauty come alive
like watching a general waging a war
Like hearing a bird sing Truth
all these things make me strive
to explain my love a litlle more
and pursue you all the days of my youth.

“Lone Wolf”

Alone,
Desperate and afraid,
the one with out a home,
the one without hearth
the one without shade.

Abandoned by all,
once so strong and true,
does this one begin life anew?

Freedom or fear,
who is to decide,
what is right for this year,
which is the gentlest tide.

Is this life worth living,
when there is so much worry to be had,
is this what is meant for life,
or is this path bad.

would sleep not be easier,
than subjecting oneself to fear,
but is death sleazier,
than this life which some hold so dear?

Standing before this cliff,
the lone wolf must decide,
if it is better to venture out,
or try to mend the riff.

Alone,
Desperate and afraid,
the one without home,
the one without hearth
the one without shade.

“The caps”

Terrible things only  happen to thE bad,
Really most of the woRld is quite gentle,
wolves who are RabId are always put down,
but a Few live wIth constant fear,
Ending their Days with anxiety,
they constantly feel the caps.

"bitter pain"

Such bitter pain,
No eye can see the depths of my despair,
Such bitter pain,
No ear can hear the shrillness of my scream,
such bitter pain,
no hand can feel the heat of my agony,
such bitter pain,
and no relief in sight.
