Yeah. You're expected to like him, you named yourself after him lol. I'll give Tobias one thing, he isn't a one dimmensional character, in fact he's had a lot of development....but no positive development. As each book went by it seemed like KA was tryig to make more and more reasons as to why we should pity him. "OMG He got trapped as a hawk" "OMG he's having a hard time adjusting to life as a hawk" "OMG he has his powers back and he's still not happy" and the pattern goes on and on until he's so depressed that you have no choice but to pity him("OMG His girlfriend died. Well at least he has his mom....oh wait...he doesn't because she mysteriously vanished off the face of the earth") I liked him in the first book, though. He seemed to have more.....personalit y
