Haha! Yes, indeed! Sorry, natural instinct type of phobia... I've been on some forums before that didn't take to kindly to new members. Even on here, I have to admit I've been watching from a distance a bit, hawk-eying and skimming as many topics as possible to make sure I don't bring up something that's already been talked up to death. I know everyone hates having to exaggeratedly roll their eyes and type out "look it up, noob!" Lol

But eh, so far everyone on here has been very welcoming and kind, and for that I thank you all as much as possible!! Takin' it easy on the ani-noob, haha. Thank you all again to well the welcomes!  :D

Aw, don't tip-toe. The water's fine! Isn't that right? ;)

You know, you could probably slap that on a t-shirt and make some money. There's nothing technically connecting that to Animorphs unless you happened to read the books and then it could be written off as a coincidence.

And I hear you about the forum shyness Tobias. I don't know what it is about most forums that increases a person's testicular fortitude, but somehow it does the trick. People are complete jerks to each other online.

It's part of the reason I won't visit the Megatokyo forums anymore.

Actually, I made it for that express purpose! Feel free to use the pic to make one for yourself, if you want. Here's the thread on t-shirt theme ideas if you find you're on a roll.

And I know what you mean about some other forums. That's not to say that everyone who has joined RAF has felt at home here, but in speaking for myself, this is the first forum in which I have felt at home from the get-go. Let us know if we can help out with anything, Tobias! :)

This is the first forum I ever remember being in, and I love it. From my first post, people were helping me and telling me how to do things. So don't be afraid, jump right in! We don't bite!

Usually... ;D

Haha! Yeah, I do have to admit I feel a bit relieved speaking my mind and not being bit for it (yet...) Lol. But yeah, the more I read into this forum, the more I realize my instincts are right; We're all here because we're Animorph fans. It's not about competition or attacking others...

The first forum I ever joined was this one for another *kids* themed show about a werewolf teenager, and wow, the people on that forum were so rude! Most of them were honestly just there so they could feel "elite" by tearing down a bunch of fans of the show, most of us weren't even in our teens yet. Should we be glad that it made them feel so happy with themselves, verbally abusing everyone who just wanted to join to show their fandom for the show?

Ugh. I guess I was scared I might run into someone like that here, so I was hesitant to join. But I sure am glad I have! Aside from the Seal stealing my sanity, no one has yet to bite! Lol!

Heh, I've been on another forum that I ended up leaving since the people were so rude. That's why I like RAF.
Oh, and beware me. My name depicts I'm angelic. My behavior is far from that.

I can agree with your choice though, who wants to come back to a place where people are in such a negative state of mind, and have such poor attitudes?

RAF so far is really cool! I even found that there were the old TV show uploads on here! God knows I've been searching for some of those episodes forever ... The Monkey Business bit with Jake, LOL So funny. I remember, my friend Jason and I had been watching that and talking via phone, and cracked up so bad at it ... and then the next day at school during lunch, one of the teachers ran over to our table and was like "I WANT YOU ALL TO STOP THIS MONKEY BUSINESS!"  LOL so devious, we instantly locked stares with each other and just started laughing so loud. Had to miss five minutes of recess over it, but it was so worth it. That's a memory I'll never be able to let go of, so at least the show had some upsides!

And heh, I'll keep that in mind, J-Angel :P

As long as you stay away from my Sprite, I'm okay. Unless I have too much of aforementioned Sprite and get on a sugar high, in which case you should probably flee the country.
