As I took a seat at the weapons station I demorphed just in case. "Weapons system fully functional." I sat looking at the screen showing me possible targets. "All clear right now."
Marco: Now do you see why it's crazy to think we can beat the Yeerks? I mean, come on: We can barely beat zoo security.

Tobias: (now stuck as a hawk) They'll come. The Andalites will come. And until then...
Jake: (nods and wipes tears) Yeah. Until then, we fight.

I sat down at one of the other open weapons station and placed my awkward claw-like fingers on the weapons panel. "We are heading back to earth, right?" I asked Reli. I didn't want to go to the Andalite home world or anything.

((OOC: Guys... XD there are only two open weapons stations; the third is life support. Bah.))

<None of you has been in morph longer than forty minutes. As for where we are headed, right now I am just trying to get us into Known Space. Once we are there, I can put out a distress beacon, and we can await pick-up from the nearest Human or Andalite vessel, whichever is passing by. Right now, though, we are running from, not to.>

After not noticing anything at all accept a few bar on the screen I realized I had not chosen a weapon station. this was life support. I sighed. "Oh well." I focused on keeping the life support stable.

I doubted any ships will come by soon, so I sat down at the station and relaxed. I turned to look at Shaun. "How long have you guys known each other?" I asked trying to start a conversation.

"Not that long we were on our first mission as a team when it went bad." I said to Dru. BLEEP! The radar picked something up. I looked at the screen a red dot was blinking on the screen. "Reli I dont know what it is but something is behind us."

I looked at my radar "I see it too! Do you know if it is friend or foe Reli?" I didn't feel like randomly shooting someones ship down.

<Shaun and Dru, keep your eyes on it and be ready to fire on it! We just need to buy one more minute. Strap yourselves in if there are straps; I'm going to be working to evade them by flight maneuvers. I can't use speed to run until the Z-Space jump finishes spooling up.>

Reli could see the ship approaching on the heads-up display. It fired a warning shot across the nose of their pod, and she swung the ship around at a steep angle so the Dual Shredder Cannon sights would come to bear on it.

I locked the shredder onto the ship just in case. "Ready to fire Reli." I reminded her.

<Then fire on it. It did just shoot at us.>

I fired shots from the shredder cannon at the ship. "Do you know why they are firing at us?" I hollered at Reli, as the ship shot more shots at us.

<We just blew up their Kandrona and stole their escape vehicle. Where have you been?>

"I have been trying to pretend this never happened. When will the Z-Space jump happen?" I fired more shots at the ship. <Sorry for freaking out, I just am not used to this yet.> I told Reli in private thought-speak.

I didnt wait for a command from Reli, as soon as they shot at us they started a battle I would not no could not lose. I fired repeated shots at them but shooting from a spaceship isnt like anything you can just imagine its a lot harder than you think. Shots go stray more often than I would like but we cant have everything we want. "Reli we need a backup plan this migbht not cut it just shooting until one of us dies."

"I agree with Shaun, Reli you need to think up a backup plan soon. Chris, how is the ships life doing?"
