Oh... goodness. It turns out Ossanlin's "I'm blackmailing you into telling me your life story" request to Salem has resulted in a wall of text. Who knew? Sorry, Luke >.< Haha. Everyone else... Salem's post is skippable. Definitely the most background information I've ever given out in the GESB regarding his character, though.

Luke, For reference, "Jamil" is a name Ossanlin may (or may not) recognize. It refers to Jamil-Herifas-Halennen, a (comparatively) young member of the Andalite Electorate, a sort of political rockstar who rose quickly to prominence not long before Salem arrived on the homeworld, and one of the points of contact between the Electorate and the military. Sound kosher to you?

Excellent!  ^^  That was a pure joy to read, just as I expected.  We'll say that Ossanlin knows who Jamil is, but it didn't seem to fit its way into that post without sounding forced, in a manner of speaking.

And we learn not only of Ossanlin's latent homosexual feelings, but his rank in Sector Seven as well.    And damn if he isn't playing hardball, eh?

Lumy, that post was absolutely fabulous. You and Ossanlin are really scaling up the quality bar by a lot. XD Since Terenia seems absent, I'll post soonish. Thanks for finally giving me the background on Salem, and a lovely read. : }

I also just remembered that Keshin actually agreed to help Salem before Jeffrey goaded Myitt into trying to kill Keshin and Joanne, so he's going to be going over to meet him after he's finished. :]

Oh... Gods... I just realized that the name "Hope Drive" may have been a cruel joke at Salem's expense this whole time...

I'm glad you guys enjoyed getting a taste of Salem's background, by the way ^_^ I enjoyed writing it. Took a fair amount of research into my old notes-- it's been a while since I delved that deep.

Also, yes, I did just have Salem quote Dollhouse. Sue me. I liked that show.

I intentionally left Salem's reference to Siruvan vague, because while I'm assuming Salem is at least acquainted with Siruvan, I don't yet know how or how well. Haha. We'll have to figure that one out at some point.

You should stop doing that. They miss you. WE miss you Luckily, with the pace the bar moves at these days, you haven't actually fallen very far behind as far as plot goes. You could pick up and post again as though nothing had happened and hardly anything would be amiss.
