Hmm. Is Rathien actually from Atazin? If not, I'll need to change Mar's post. After absorbing power from that Allstone, his guesses about aura are going to be fairly accurate for a little while. It's less reading minds and more, "Wow, that guy's totally not normal!" XD

I don't know exactly what you mean by "Atazin" Kelly, but Rathien is from the same universe as Ossanlin.  In fact he's not even aware of the fact that the GESB is an inter-dimensional crossroads, though if he did a more in-depth scan with his ship, he'd figure out something was up.  Also aren't we still walking toward the bar?  I've been in and out of it here so I don't know I guess...I thought we were still walking toward the bar...correct me if I'm wrong.

Also Jessi, I don't know Andalite ages... >_>

I figured from your other descriptions, which is why I winged it and said Oss is four also, though you're the only reference I'm going off of.  :p    He's about 27-28 in human years.

And yeah, the only thing I know for a fact is that Ax is 3 and he's about the Animorphs ages (13-16)....so....I'm not sure, lol.


I think I may have just used dog years, lol.

Ah, I can see the logic, although using that...one andalite year would then be, at most, barely more than five years earth time...in which case Ossanlin would actually be five and Efaen would be five or six...idk.  :p

And yeah, he's young, but I realized my estimation was off by a few years.  When I was fourteen-fifteen, he would've been nineteen or so...which would actually put him at about thirty now that I think about it.  Using the logic from above then he'd just barely be six...
He graduated quite early from the academy (around age 16-17 equivalent).  I'd have to go into his back-story to look for sure, but I believe he spent a grand total of a month, maybe two, as an aristh.  Then he was promoted to Warrior for a short time before being appointed TO of his Dome Ship the Galaxy Tree.  After serving as TO for several (human equivalent) months, there was an unexpected battle in a backwoods system while the Tree was on patrol.  The Tree stumbled across a small squad of Yeerk ships.  The First Officer was an accomplished fighter pilot so he went out with the stunt craft to fight.  His ship was destroyed after he ended several Bug Fighters.  When the Tree started sustaining direct fire from a Blade Ship, explosions rocked through the ship.  One particularly powerful explosion threw the Captain across the bridge where he suffered a fatal head-injury.  As TO, Ossanlin was forced to take command and barely destroyed the Blade Ship with a little cleverness and a lot of luck.  Turned out that the First Officer had been slated to take over command of the new Mark III Dome Ship Tyrennian and Ossanlin was going to be offered the First Officer position to replace him on the Tree.  The Tree was so badly damaged that it had to be scuttled and scrapped for parts so there wouldn't be any more officer positions on that ship obviously.  Since both the Captain and the First Officer that had been slated to be promoted had been killed in the line of duty, the solution that the Electorate came up with was to promote Ossanlin to the position of Captain aboard the new Dome Ship at the ripe old age of about 19 (human equivalent).

Yeah, Efaen actually was a bit of the reverse situation. Since she's female she had a bit of a harder time getting through aristh training. She started at the Academy at the normal age and wasn't slated to be promoted to warrior status until she was about 25 in human years. This was largely due to the prejudice that she couldn't perform to the standards of a male. The officers would often purposely give her tasks that were more suited to male physiology (for example, they would expect her to be able to use her blade to decapitate a fighter dummy in one shot instead of the two or three that it would take a female blade). Until she finally found someone who was willing to utilize her skills as a morpher she was stuck in limbo. She finally managed to get approved for warrior status and had all of that snatched from her a few days before the ceremony when Terenia snagged her.

Jessi, will you let me know if Serid is needed for Ossanlin and Terenia's procedure? Otherwise I will probably continue to only post once every week or two until December rolls around.
