I think I have kind of an awkward situation regarding Corliss and Temrash. I'm not supposed to force a situation on a character if they have no means in which to get out of it, right? Well, Temrash is probably going to want to do a memory wipe on Corliss, and there's not really any way he could get out of that. He can't push past two Hork-Bajir and go for the dracon, then have time to shoot both. But I don't have much reason for Temrash to not demand a memory wipe.

Why would Temrash want to perform a memory wipe on Corliss?  Just to gain Corliss' trust back?

Anyway, he'd have to wipe Mike and Corliss' memories, and considering Temrash is in a pool and Jagill probably doesn't know how to use the memory probes (I assume, since he's a Hork-Bajir)...it doesn't seem likely.

I guess if Dara and Kevlin are there they could do it, but honestly...why doesn't Temrash just admit that he's behind the whole thing? :P  Then Corliss will leave him alone.  It's not like there's any hope of Temrash joining the rebellion now, either way.

He'd wipe Corliss' memory because Corliss saw his memories. They're not friends, so why would he want Corliss walking around knowing secrets about Temrash? He doesn't admit guilt because he's trying to get around Corliss to talk to Reven, and doesn't want Reven to know he used unscrupulous means to find him.

He desn't expect to gain Corliss' friendship again, but Corliss isn't the top dog in the rebellion. as far as he knows, Myitt might still vouch for him with Reven if Reven wants someone to do it. Though right now, he's considering just allying with the rebels instead of actually joining under Reven's command.

Yeah...I'm not giving you permission to wipe his memories.  Sorry, dude.

Dara could object to the mind wipe. He might think it wouldn't be good to make enemies by mind wiping people. Maybe Temrash would listen to an old friend?

If Kevlin or Dara advises against it, then Temrash would just let it go. He's in intelligence, and knows the risks, so he's infomred. I just need a decent reason for him not to insist.

How about the fact that a memory wipe of Corliss would piss off everyone at the bar with Rebel affiliations? I can't imagine, say, Terenia or Illim would be too happy, and if Reven and Myitt caught wind of it, there'd be hell to pay.

Well I think it's been established that just trying to wipe certain sections of memory doesn't work nearly as well as erasing the whole thing, and wiping every memory he has in the past month would rub others wrong. However if it was Myitt or Corliss in Temrash's shoes, they would wipe him.

You know if Efaen's getting in, there has to still be some hope of Temrash getting in. I think it's a little funny. Temrash actually has resources that would benefit the rebellion, but two refugees are getting in instead of him. Though Efaen does have one or two things to give that the rebellion could use, I'll admit.

The whole rebellion arc is really the main reason for keeping Temrash in the RP anyway. Otherwise there isn't much reason for him to stay.

Except to apparently try and watch Terenia's every move.

And yeah, Efaen in the rebellion is probably a terrible idea. But...Corliss/Myitt/Reven don't know how wrong things can go. :P

lol, neither do I. I'll uh.. just pretend that it's the same host, if that's okay. And Jasper just remembers he's the guy who said "Hi, Bye!" and ran. :P

Bear, Marie:

Their conversation was short-lived, to say the least. They didn't even get around to introducing themselves before Illim ran off. It spans four posts between the two of you. Though, yeah, Derrel was already Illim's host at that point.
