"NO! YOU CAN'T" Jo was panicking.  So much for her brave speeches.  She was held by living razors and not nearly strong enough to fight them.  She only had one morph that was stronger than her so in front of a room full of Yeerks she began to change.

Ultor watched with a kind of feverish facination as the girl began to change, several of his men started forward but the Sub-visser stopped them. "No matter what she becomes we can take her anyway, and I want to know as much about this technology as possible." The yeerk under-general said this to himself more than anyone else; he didn't have to explain his reasoning. Ultor couldn't believe his eyes; for a yeerk, the power to take any form you wish was akin to God-hood. That was why Visser three was so revered. <Very impressive, you should infest her before presenting her to the Visser; He won't let you keep her, he knows your better than he is.> The sub-visser contemplated his hosts words for a moment; did the man expect to be set free? Ultor's reprieve was broken by a grunt from one of the hork-bajir, the girl was 90% done with her change. "Grab her, Now!"

Meh.

Jo looked over at her father.  "Run if you have any sense."  She took off out the to the front door.

Jazar took a strong hold of his host's stepfather, to keep him from following his daughter.

OoC: You morphed Olivia?

Bic: With a nod from ultor the hork-bajir dashed after the girl out onto the open street. Humans stared and gawked at the bladed creatures and shouted questions at the humans (including ultor). As they followed, the yeerks sped ahead of the hork-bajir in one of the vans, pulling along side Jo. Ultor set his dracon beam to stun and leaned out the window, targeting the girl.

(((Morphed Olivia yes not the brightest move on Jo's part)))

Normal hiding spots that would have hide her normal form would not hide this balkier body her was now in.  So she ran as she dodged dracon beams until her tripped.

The Hork-bajir ran up and grabbed her almost as soon as she hit the ground. Ultor told the driver to stop and he and two humans got out. He approached the girl- woman now- with a smile on his face. "You are mine." The yeerk sub-visser ignored the looks and screams his group was getting as they stood on the sidewalk.

Suddenly, one of the Hork-bajir planted his blade deep within the back of the hork-bajir holding Jo. She was free for a moment as the group atacked the rebel.
Meh.

Jo did not feel the need to thank the alien as she started running again.  She ran down an ally and dived into a dumpster to hide.

"Well, let's go ahead and finish up here, guys. Olivia probably won't be much use to us as a lizard.... Though you'd be much easier to hide this way." He said to his still-squirming pocket. "Who can make it to the zoo tonight? We'll meet at the edge of the lake in Hermann Park, by the tower. (((Google Search it...))) Unless someone here has a gerbil or something, I guess we'll be going back to the pet store..."

"A gerbil? Really?" Brian scoffed. He really didn't want to be a rodent... why bother, when we could fly?

Sean rolled his eyes, "Or anything that can get us past the fence.... What time would be best for everyone?" Sean wished Jo was still here, because she was definitely part of 'everyone'. He knew there would be times when some of them would be tied up, however.

"Time? Tonight...after dinner, I guess. Mom won't worry much, and I can always come up with something." Chad shrugged, trying to show it wasn't a big deal. But, he really didn't like the idea much of lying..."Well, we'd better get going..."

<It's all fine with me,> Olivia said calmly.  <Now please LET ME DEMORPH.>

Jo thought that maybe the Yeerks would look in the dumpster so she found a roach.  There are some things that you can feel oddly thankful for.  Any human fond in here will be made a controller while roaches...  She stopped thinking about it and demorphed.

"You need to help me," Jazar said to Sandresh.  Laurence would had gotten away if he was just a few years younger.  Sandresh could hardly move the body she was in because of the hosts constant resistance.

((Thank you animorph.))        Joel finished the rest of his coffee and went into his desk and pulled out a cigar box. He opens it up and pulls out a cuban cigar and a lighter and started smoking the cigar. While smoking he picks up the phone and dials the number for the sub visser. ("Oh. My stomach. Human? Why is our stomach hurting?" "Impending doom. You called your people too early. Happens to me all the time yeerk.")

Jo acquired the roach and began to morph it.  Her skin was the first change, it became hard.  She slowly felt like there was more room in the dumpster for her.  As her humans eyes dimmed antennae shot out of her head.  The last changes were the extra legs and the sagging feeling when the last of her bones melted to roach flesh.  She then felt the roach mind emerge.  She braced herself for a panicky creature, but instead found a mind that felt right at home where it was.

"After dinner sounds good to me," Kristin replied.  "Going to the pet store might not be a bad idea.  We could acquire small animals that would fit under the fence.  I would suggest acquiring a bird but not many birds that pet store would have would be good for long distance flying.  We should wait until we get to the zoo to acquire flying morphs."

Chad smirked. "Sure, go ahead. Besides breaking Dad's shirt, you'd probably freak out everybody here. Can't you just wait a minute?"
