(REPOST! No more! I've had it with these topics not displaying! From now on all pics I show will be by code and photobucket! Not attachments! CURSE U ADDITIONAL OPTIONS! CURSE UUUUUU!!!

And sorry for this whole corrupted topic issue =_=; )

Ok so this is a thread about my art and fic again and it's a nuisance and a waste of space. But actually, I wanted to make a new reply that could be considered a latest one you all will see rather than a merged one in my old threads and no one notice so yeah I opened a new one...unless you know how to make a new noticeable thread WITHOUT being a merged one, then ok. This is a waste of space. :

Anyhow, it's just some updates on both art and fic.

I'd like to say my latest chp of The Alteration is up and I want to thank the people for answering some Animorphs-related questions. Thanks to them, I've decided to modernize the setting of Animorphs to 200X as a challenge and as a fun thing to do. So thank you, LisaCharly, Aluminator and goom!

Plus, I had always wondered how Ax would react in our modern time, like say he comes across a mac or iPod.

Ax: -fiddling with a DS- I do not understand how you humans play this contraption. I click on this 'Y' button to move the character vertically but it only does some sort of attack motion.

Vickie: ...Ok. Let us leave him be and continue with this thread.

I've dedicated this chp to Broken for helping me alot on brainstorming to make this chp more modern. Thank you Broken and hope you'll enjoy the chp! ;D http://www.fanfiction.net/s/6308284/1/Alteramorphs_0_The_Alteration

Also, I'll be dedicating future chps and pics to everyone who has been nice to me and made me feel at home like Dameg, VisserZer0, Asmodeus, Terenia, Stephquiem, KitsuneMarie, goom, Phoenix004, Aluminator and many more! And don't say I shouldn't do this. Cuz I really want to! :akanbe: As thanks for making my time here enjoyable.

And last, I have updated my book cover pic (see old pic here: Alteramorphs #0: The Alteration (Both fanfic and art, feedback needed)) becaaause I GOT CS5 AND A NEW TABLET! :woot2: YIPPEE! So happy! Thanks to these new toys, I've improved my pic in just half a day (of course, the pen pressure started to act weird so I need to fix that) with just CS5 Photoshop and my Intuos 4! XD I love them very much now! Hope you all enjoy the new improvements attached below!

Enlarge to see details.

Without further ado, I hope you enjoy the update art and the modernized world in my fi-

Marco: HOLD IT RIGHT THERE! Why the heck did you go and make it modern? I like my 1994/5 self! It's way cooler than any 2000s stick-ups. The chicks dig me!

Vickie: Ah, ok. Hold that thought and allow me to do this. -comes up to Marco, grabs his collar and completely tears off his 1994 self, revealing a new 2005 look-

Marco: WHATTHEHECK!? What did you do to me!?

Vickie: As Rachel would say it, it's a fashion statement. It looks good on ya. I bet the fans will be weak in the knees over this new look.

Marco: You can't do this to me! My style has been copyrighted to BE the 1994/5! Oh, when my boss (KA) hears about this, you are so gonna be-

Vickie: -reveals a God of War game in hand-

Marco: O_O

Vickie: You see the game, boy? You see the game? -shakes it-

Marco: -literally goes on all four and pants like a dog-

Vickie: Yes, boy. Do you want it? Do you want to play it on Jake's new Xbox 360 machine?

Marco: RUFF!

Vickie: You really want it? You want it boy? Well, then! GO GET IT! -throws it-

Marco: -goes to fetch it-

Vickie: -notices the audience is staring at her- I admit nothing other than I like to torture Marco and I do not own Animorphs. I only do this to entertain you all in the utmost kind of humorous situations, regardless of fic-related or not. -grins evilly-

And now it's 3:30 am sooo...NITE! -faints from exhaustion-

Cute cartoon. I totally don't put that much thought into period clothing. XD

Thanks, it was a real quickie. And actually I'm the same too but when it comes to character design, I just draw what I think suits to the personality so research is a must. :P Plus I get to torture Marco again.

Anyhow, glad you like it. Please note a future dedication or gift will be coming your way as thanks. :D

Hot dang, sweet! I'm always down with gifts.

I admit I also like to torture Marco, but most of my character design templates focus more on differentiating faces and body language than clothing (since they all change clothes every few pages anyway). Oddly enough, I research more for fic than I do fanart.

Ok, I'll note ya when I'm done. :3

That's true. Expressions and body are the language of a character's reaction (and yeah they do change but mostly wear morphing skins). Of course, I also add clothes since it's also another strong trait of a character for personality. But facial looks also work.

You're not alone. It's kinda annoying for me. I am the kind who likes to perfect my work and I go the distance when I look up research. >_< But then again, it's worth it when I perfect the fic for my readers' entertainment.

Oh, I'm definitely not saying clothes aren't important. I just usually have a general idea of the style and don't really bother making it too temporally accurate.

Oh, my fault on this. I wasn't implying you weren't. Forgive me, was just saying what I normally do. ^^; But we all have different ways, with or without a general idea of style so no biggie.

Okay, okay. You finally got me here. Sorry for the delay - and thanks for the dedication! :P

I love the art, you have a real talent for facial expression and body proportion that I am immensely jealous of. I'm still waiting for someone to start a Art class in the RAFschool thread....:P

As far as the book cover is concerned, it looks great. The cubes (Escafil Devices, I'm assuming) look a bit odd being so 3D against the 2D drawings, but I'm assuming that has to do with the fact that the picture isn't entirely finished. As I already said, I love the facial expressions.

The cartoon is adorable too. Poor Marco. :P

I still need to read and review on the fic, but it's on my to-do list for today. Would you prefer for me to leave reviews here or at ff.net?

Anyways, keep up the great work!

Sorry, Terenia. :-\ Like I said before, I was just asking so no need to be sorry. Should have been patient. I just worry too much (must control that). AND You're welcome! :D

Thank you, glad you like this unfinished art piece (so bloody time-consssuming). And come on. I love your style and art :D (muuuust comment them in RAF and DA) And your photography too (heck! I envy them!)

Well, I could open an Art class over the weekends since I don't see one myself and I did do a tutorial some time on character design for a friend so yeah, I can put it up for the second or third lesson. First will probably be materials, shapes and then basics like anatomy before the whole body and expressions... Ooooh heck. -sees people come to pounce on her for teaching- AAAAAAAHHHH!!!

-survives the attack- Gah! Anyway, thanks! PRAISE MY TABLET! And the cubes (yes you assumed right), actually I had been struggling whether to leave them 3D or do 2D AND it's not entirely finished. The reason to leave them 3D was because of a similar take in a megamorph book....but then again, the cover on that one was nothing 2D. Just using photos and such. So I'm struck till I finish the pic and then decide whether 3D or not. And glad you like the expressions...wait till you see more on this pic. -faints-

-grins evilly- Glad you like the cartoon. >:D But hey, he needed a makeover.

Like I said, take your time and r'n'r the fic anytime you like. Don't overwork yourself in one day. Here have a virtual glass of orange juice to calm the nerves. And I don't mind reviews at FFN.

I will! :D -goes off to continue work, THEN gets pounced on by previous people-
