I was yanked back into consciousness by a sudden blast of cold. I coughed and sputtered as the water ran off my face.
Oh, jeeze, owwww. Instinctively I reached up to the back of my head, checking for blood where whatever-it-was had hit me, only to discover my hands were bound together with a zip-tie; it was just loose enough to allow circulation, but still painfully tight. My head swam for a second as I sat up; I was in a cell... there was a ferret in the cage next to me. Probably Cobra...
"Who are you, and why am I bound? I am just a tourist; I was on my way to Jerusalem to sight-see."
<Stop trying to fool us, miss Finch. We know who you are, and it may save you much trouble to come to grips with that realization.>
I glanced around the room; everybody else here was apparently human... or ferret, in Cobra's case... so who was using thought-speech?
Suddenly, across the narrow room, the wall shuddered, reality appeared to shift... holographic projection. The wall vanished completely, and three beings stepped forward into the room.
I admit my jaw dropped.
Flanked by two shredder-armed Hork-Bajir... maybe others in morph?...
directly in front of me stood a lone female Andalite.
<Jay, I suppose at this point it will not hurt to allow the other to demorph, but shoot it if it so much as blinks funny without being told.>
One of the humans pressed a remote button, and the latch opened on Cobra's cage, giving him the chance to step out.
((ooc: I know that's probably more plot-hopping than you want or anticipate, and I'll be willing to alter it later with the consensus of the other players, but I'll be away again until Saturday-ish. I figure this will leave you something to use until my return.))
