RAFmobile inconveniences

Sorry if there's a topic like this, I can't do a search on RAFmobile.

No search withstanding, the inconvenience I type of is the "clear all" function while typing posts. Whenever you hold down the "Clear" button for longer than a fraction of a second, the entire post is deleted. I've lost many a rant & discussion this way. I was damn near finished with a beautiful RP post, and I accidentally held "Clear" longer than intended, and my post was discarded.

Is this a feature that was requested? Can it be disabled? Has anyone else been inconvenienced as I have? If you don't want to disable the feature, is there a way to make the time required to hold the "Clear" button longer?

I don't have the 'clear' text problem, Parker, just double checked. It clears posts one word at a time for me. As for the search function, I don't really miss it.. But I can see how it's absence could be an inconvenience..

Seriously? That's just messed. When I hold "Clear" on my text messages it deletes words one at a time. Why is it clearing out the whole window on RAFmobile? Gah! I guess I'm doomed unless Rich can think of something.

Mine doesn't do it on raf but it does it during text messages. Its not a raf setting its your phone.

Well, I don't know if I posted this, but I found out it's just how my phone's web browser works. It's so annoying.



Another RAFmobile question I have, is:

Is there any way to applaud users on RAFmobile? I now spend the majority of my time on RAFmobile. Whenever I read something that makes me want to +1 them, I have to wait 'til I get home, and by that time, I've completely forgotten about it.

Sorry, no way to update karma on RAF Mobile. On the other hand what phone are you using?

LG Voyager. I know I can load the full "www" site, but waiting for all the pictures and icons to load and be reformatted is such a paaiiin.

today i started using my new phone
a tmobile touch screen Nokia Nuron 5230

Now, on my blackberry RAF showed up with a blue screen. no pictures, but very easy to use.
This one is showing the entire website as it does on a computer, causing it to load at a much  much  slower rate. I want my easy layout for it back

Is there a certain website i could go to? for example, a lot of websites that are mobile capable would be m.facebook.com or m.myspace.com is that the same for raf? it doesn't give me an option, as my blackberry did, to view differently.
