Ello, Ello, whats all this then?

I figure since my username has a large flag of the UK underneath it I shouldn't disappoint.

My name is Alasdair, or Ali to pretty much everyone. Spell it Ally and I will ridicule you about having an obsession for Ally McBeal, a nickname I found difficult to shake in middle school. Now that I have told you that I hope it doesn't catch on.

Okay, starting over :P

So I'm 18, turning 19 in may, I read the animorphs books when I was like ten, and finished when I was 12/13. I continued rereading them until I was about 16. I stopped for a while... But something kept drawing me back.

Other than animorphs I like making videos on YouTube, (although not so much anymore, perhaps why I am looking at this forum as a potential new obsession!)

I am going to drama school in September, after I finish my gap year in a school in sydney, Australia.

Um... I like the simpsons and the beatles.

I was trying to think of two MASSIVLY universal things to end wiht so I get lots of "OMG I like the beatles too"

What can I say, I am insecure! Although I do like the simpsons... And the Beatles. And Doctor Who for that matter. And Stargate.... And Lost. I should stop now.

Yay! You posted an intro thread! Welcome, Ali! I have to say Alasdair is like the coolest name ever. I may call you that instead of Ali just because it's that awesome. Sort of like my friend named Jedediah.

Have fun in Australia! There are some awesome RAFians there who might want to hang out, just warning ya! ;) I wish Americans embraced the idea of the gap year with as much enthusiasm as the British do. Hardly anyone here takes one, but I wish I could've! Wonder where I would've gone... probably back to England, haha. One can never spend too much time in Yorkshire.

Yay, Lost! I plan on catching up today. I went the whole month of March without television (except to show an episode of Firefly to Goom), but a thee-day weekend means that it's time to get back on track! :P

Hiya, Alasdair! Welcome to the forum  :) Judging by the ease of your skype conversation going on right now, and your obvious love of Animorphs, I'm pretty darn sure you're gonna fit in just fine here. And really fast, too  :)
