Ha ha, thanks yeah I actually do. I don't know if you're ever read it, but I first wrote it a LONG time ago and I did start working on a revised (and hopefully improved) version a while back.

So I started drawing up my concept of how I think The Rachel would look.  I don't draw often, but I felt good about what I had so far.  Then I set it aside to play through Mass Effect 2 and 3 again.  That's when I realized that my sketch looked exactly like The Normandy, only stubbier.  *sigh*  Literally back to the drawing board.  :\

That is actually an amusing thought. Like picturing him hanging out in the hotel doing normal human things to maintain his cover, all while wondering if Tobias is secretly watching or if he's just being paranoid and foolish.

You won't have read it, haven't worked on it in years (started part 1 when I was 13). It's called Animorphs Travels and I almost finished part 2 of the series before abandoning it. Originally planned to make it a long running series.

Oh I see then. What was it about? Also, I'm thinking about writing a bit of fic myself sometime soon, would you be interested in helping out? Even if its just to have someone to bouncing ideas off of and make sure I'm not derailing the canon characters?

The toughtspeak of Andalites is a problem, at school. Human teachers may prevent the students copying during a class test. They need to talk each other.

But Andalites? They could easily communicate each other without anyone noticing...

Good point. Maybe they all have to take tests solo? Or perhaps they don't have tests in the same way we do.

Ax was in the same room as a cute girl in xenobiology class. We know that. We also know it's kind of possible to tell that someone is talking privately, even if we don't know what they're saying, because they'll look distracted. I'm not sure how they'd do tests, unless the tests are considerably different.

Yeah, I suppose they take tests in a completely different way, maybe isolated or by some mechanism which can detect thought-speak impulses. In any case I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have as many random tests as we do.
