A Kind Heart and a Wolf's Courage (Semi literate) Filled

The man looks into the woman's eyes and slows his breathing, he whispers, "Ky...Ky..." He closes his eyes and exhales a broken breath as though on the verge of crying more. He bows his head. leans his right should forward, and falls into the woman's embrace. He half-silently continues to weep.

Geoffery watches with a sypathetic expression. He says nothing as, what once was a dog, lies in the woman's lap.

She said nothing as she held him tightly and let him cry. She didn't know what he was going to say, but whatever he dreamed, it was bad. "Shhh..... Everything's all right. IT'll be opkay." she said holding him in her lap and brushing his hair from his face.

The man opened his eyes and finally woke up from his half-dreaming state of depression. He realized he was lying in the woman's lap and withdrew, standing on his knees. Embarrassed, he says, "I uh... What's um..." He looks to the boy and says with a slight smile, "Hi."

Geoffery's face brightens to see the man feeling somewhat better and his excitement about the dog becoming real returned. He leapt onto the man, hugging him, "Sparky! You're a real person now!"

The man stares at Wolf and the woman completely stupified, keeping his arms out wide, unsure whether or not to hug the child.

Wolf looks at Sparky and Geoffrey and looks like "Don't look at me." He mouths a: "Hes all yours, Sparky." He chuckles and tries to not laugh.

He looks to the woman and mouths the word, "Sparky" in a question. While not wanting to make the child feel awkward, he lightly embraces the boy and gives him a light pat on the head.

Geoffery stands back up and says, "I can't wait fuh you ta meet my daddy!"

The man just realized that they were in a house. "Where is your father?"

"He's in da next viddage."

The man raises his head in discovery. "Ah, and they left you here all alone?"

Geoffery shakes his head, "Uh-uh. Miss Craw-dod checks on me evwy once in a wile."

Wolfs eyes widdened and he looked down for a second then he looked up and said to Natalya: "We need to do something." He moves over so "Sparky" can see him and mouths: "We need to think of something."

The narrowed his eyes as though to say, "What do you expect me to do?"

Geoffery bounced a little and asked, "Do you wanna see my woom?"

The man pat the boy on the head and said. "Sorry, uh..."

"Jeff-wey."

"Geoffery; but we should probably get going. Some uh, bad men are trying to hurt these nice people, and we're trying to get far away from them."

Wolf looks at "Sparky" and shrugs while mouthing: "Ok." He walks over to Natalya and whispers: "Ready?"

Natalya mouthed to him that the child had named him Sparky as Wolf had named him Dog and the boy didn't like it. Then she had missed the exchange with the boy and "Sparky" as she had a small spasm of pain in her leg where she had been injured before. It made her think and she looked at her arm bandage that she could see and seen that she was starting to bleed through the worst one. She gave a soft curse that only the others would be able o hear leaving the boy free of it. She looked up at Wolf and nodded at his question. "Yes, ready." she said and went to stand up. She winced a little as the results from rushing over to "Sparky" caught up with her.

Geoffery sees the others getting ready to leave, "Oh, weh-oh, maybe you could use my daddy's snow car."

The man looks at Geoffery puzzled, "Snow car?"

"Yeah, it's like a car and a tank and a sled. All in one!!"

"You mean a snowmobile? Your father has a snowmobile?"

"Sure!"

"Where is it?"

((Myth, if a snowmobile is too advanced for what ever time period we're in, I can change it.))

~~Hmm......No it's okay. Just make it to where there aren't that many machanical things  out there.....Kinda hard to explain......like there are big technical things and all, but not a whole lot of them, like you have to have major money to get it all.........If that makes since.~~

Natalya heard Geoffery offer his father's snowmobile and she was surprised. She wasn't sure people around the viallge had them. Wonders never cease. She looked to "Sparky" ((You need a name Haha)) and shrugged her good arm. "We could use it. t would put more distance between us than the sled and you won't become overexerted again. All we need to do is transfer the supplies."
