The man could see the reluctance in the woman's telling of her wounds. He put his hand on her cheek and briefly held her face, "Thank you."
He kneels down to one knee and takes her legs in his hands. He places them on his knee and unwraps the bandage. He inspects her ankle, "Well, all your running around didn't exactly help with your ankle." he looks into her eyes, "Thank you, by the way." He returns to his inspection, "Your leg is healing nicely otherwise. I'd recommend keeping the bandage on."
He moves up the tear in the woman's skirt, and moves it aside showing the bandaged wound. "Okay, looks like the stitches held. That's surprising, with all of the tendons that run through here," the man rubs the area around the wound gently, "It looks like it's healing nicely. I'd put a new bandage on it, just to be safe, but it's up to you."
