A Kind Heart and a Wolf's Courage (Semi literate) Filled

Wolf chuckles at the man and says: "I'm really hungry." He looks at Natalya and says in a depressed voice: "Yeah. It was an still is depressing." He turns around to look for a place to drop the food and finds a very large and sturdy wood table. He walks over and drops the food on it and looks for something he likes. Wolf turns around and asks Natalya: "So what do you want? Meat? fruit, apples, pears, oh grapes? Oh coffee? Why would they put coffee in a refrigerator?"

The man answers, "Hey, some people like iced coffee, or perhaps they just don't like to waste food and drink. Me, I like boiling hot coffee that I have to force myself to take tiny sips."

After he was done with the woman's sling and dressings, he gave her shoulders a quick rubdown before saying, "Okay, you're all cleaned up. Let's eat and get a lot of rest." He points to the woman, "Especially you, missy. Wolf and I will be in the very next room, so if you need us... either of us, come on in."

The man went to the table and grabbed a turkey leg, an apple, and the cold coffee and went into the other room through the conjoining door.

She gave him a mock salute and laughed. She looked at the table and then back at Wolf as the other man left. "You get what you want, brother, then I will eat." she said and waited for him to get what all he wanted before picking through the foods and picking out come fruit and such before laying down on the bed to rest.

The man puts his mug of coffee on the fireplace. He lights the fire and digs into the cold turkey as he waits for it to warm.

Wolf looked at Natalya and said: "No. Let me get your food. Here."

He gives her some foodstuffs that she wanted then grabbed a large piece of Turkey, some apples and few pieces of cheese and went into the other room and turned around and smiled at her.

Wolf enters the room sits at another table that was there and put down the food eating the turkey and the cheese. After finishing the food, except the apples, he says to the man: "Do you mind?" He points to the coffee.

The man turns and replies, "It's not even warm yet. You still want some?"

Natalya shook her head, but smiled as Wolf worried over her. She laed down, her stomach fine for now. She let her thoughts wander a little before exhaustion took over. She let her mind slip into darkness as she felt sleep over come her. The others would be able to tell she was sleeping as they could hear the even strokes of her breathing.

"Coffees coffee man. I'll help myself." Wolf sat down in a chair that was near the man and had too many questions that he wanted answered. So he speaks up and asks: "Who are you? You know a damn good amount of medical stuff. You live out in the middle of nowhere and did something to make sure we don't pay for this room. Yeah. I was watching you. You did something cause that innkeeper just stared at you. And you still haven't gave us your name. What are you hiding?"

"First of all, you never asked for my name. You just barged into my cabin spouting off about your 'friend' being in trouble, later I find out that you were running from Zoram of all people! Then an assassin finds my house; the one that took me months to build. I stayed out of their radar for years; now, because they know where I am, I had to blow it up. MY HOME! I risked my life to help you and your friend, and now you have the balls to give me the 3rd degree? I could've just let your asses out there to freeze. How about, 'Thanks for saving my life,'; how about, 'Thanks for healing my friend,'?

“Second, I’ve been living on my own for 5 years. When you’re out on your own, you’re going to need to know to mend yourself.

“Thirdly, I’m not exactly a kid. I’ve lived my life. I wasn’t always a hermit living in a hand-made cabin. I do have a past.”

The man put the cold coffee next to Wolf and walked out of the room.

Wolf looks at the man as he leaves and looks at the coffee in amazement. He looks awestruck and says nothing and decides against giving Natalya the bad news.

The man paced outside the rooms, fuming, for a while before calming down. He re-enters the room, gets into his bed, and throws the sheets over his head.

Wolf drinks his coffee an looks at the man while hes sleeping. He feels bad for flipping out at him but decides that this wouldn't be the best time to do anything. He thinks: "This is going to be a long night." He drinks his coffee and site at the table.
