Tobias nodded,breathing slowly as he shakes his head and turns back toward the way he came,flying ahead of Shawn,showing off,a normal thing he would due to all the time he has spend as a hawk.<Just follow the bird with the pretty red tail.>

<The last bird that said that to me ended up my play toy.> she said teasingly as she followed the bird with "the pretty red tail."

Tobias chuckled softly.<Well this little"birdie"here will put up more of a fight.>he says proudly as he flaps hard to rise on a thermal.<Besides,we red tails always have something extra when we need it.>he says as he seemed to be better now,focusing on his job as a member of the Animorphs as well as his human self.~That's it Tobias..stay focused and don't let the hawk in control again.~he thought to himself.

<You know, Raksha, I heard this kid took down a Yeerk freighter ship with one Dracon beam blast. I wouldn't underestimate the guy.> Shawn's playful tone was apparent, <Besides, just concentrate on not eating me first, won't you?>

<Where's the fun in making promises like that?> She asked in a playful tone as she hopped over a fallen tree.

Tobias chuckled to himself softly.<Jake I got them right here.>he calls down to Jake inside the building with everyone else.He then looks to Shawn.<They are in that building.>points to it.

Shawn circles around a tree trunk to get a quick look at Raksha, <I never told you to promise, it was just a desperate plea for mercy.> He kept his tone cutesy, so he would seem funny instead of pathetic.

Jake stoped pacing around the room and thought, Thank God. Finally.

Marco looked up from the position he had taken reclining on the couch, flicking through channels on the Kings' television, when he heard Jake stop pacing. His eyes were clearly questioning what was going on in his best friend's mind. "Glad you finally stopped; you were making me dizzy, man," he smirked.

Cassie, who had been leaning against the wall and staring the Escafil device but appearing very preoccupied, turned her eyes on Jake as well.

Tobias quickly turns abit to fly higher.<You guys go ahead and go first,I will wait for you guys to go in,then I will.>he says to Shawn.

Jake looked to Marco, "Shawn and Raksha are here. I'd watch your head if I were you." Jake says with a smile.

Marco grinned more with relief than anything else, glad nothing appeared to be wrong. "Wonder if they've been making out this whole time," he winked. Cassie and Elayne both rolled eyes simultaneously.

Tobias flies careful cover,keeping his eyes peeled on the area around the building.<Nothing..go ahead guys,go right in.>

((Oh yeah, I forgot he was there. Good remembrance. Objection deleted.))

Jake smiled at Marco's remark, "Haha, yeah he fell real fast, didn't he?" He glanced at Cassie remembering the moment he knew how he felt about her, "But you never know..." He doesn't elaborate and just moves on, "Seriously though, they're probably going to fly right over your head. You may want to move" Jake then moved to, and sat down in, the chair against the adjacent wall.

((No worries, Parker; it was over a month ago when I wrote that. And, besides, he was only there for a second. ))

Even though Jake looked at her for only a brief moment, she flushed and gave the tiniest of smiles before looking down to the carpet below her feet.

Marco grinned as he watched Jake and Cassie, getting out of the way of the incoming birds but taking the remote control with him, still flipping through channels, wondering if there was any news of the day's fiasco on the local networks.

Elayne moved to stand by the window but out of the way, ready to close the glass after they entered. "Will Tobias be coming inside as well?" she asked Jake, not wanting to shut anyone out of the house.

Jake looked concerned after Elayne mentioned Tobias, "I don't know. I hope so. Although when he's among us, he tends to tone us out and the Hawk attempts to take back control. When he's flying surveillance, he keeps his mind occupied; but again, if it gets too boring, the Hawk may want to take over again. I don't know what to do, in the end it's his decision. We'll just have to wait and see."
