Tobias's Perch

Tobias flies overhead of the group,trying to act like a normal hawk and not trying to be noticeable other then that.

Elayne approached the door and, looking through the window to see who it was first, she opened it and beckoned. "Come in. I'm glad you all made it safely. Are Shawn and Raksha on their way?"

Cassie stepped into the house, Marco just a few feet behind her. "You've got the cube still, right?"

"Yes, Marco," Elayne nodded to him with a small smile. "Things have been very quiet here."

[Blaise Zebrataur]

Flies in the air slowly as he breaths slowly looking around makeing sure no one was following them,or any controllers was around as he flapped his wings flying around in a big circle.

Jamal smiled at Cassie and gave an upwards nod, "Hey Cassie."

Jake thanked Elayne and rushed everyone in. "Shawn and Raksha? Wait, they're not here?!?"

"Hi Jamal," Cassie nodded to him. "Having fun getting to know the Chee?" she said with a small smile, walking to him. "Or at least their kitchen?" she added, noticing the open cabinets visible through the doorway.

"They left not long ago," Elayne said to Jake, closing the door after everyone. "I'm sure they'll be back soon..." she murmured, although her hologram's frown betrayed her apprehension.

[Darth Revan]

"I hope so. We walked and got here first, he better have a good story."

<Still no sign of anything odd out here Jake.>Tobias called from outside the building.

[Midnight_Huntress]

"Here take this." she said and tossed him an energy drink from her pack that she had left here. "It helps when you're on the run." she smiled and then walked over to the wall by the closet area. She placed her ear to the wall and began to tap lightly on it. Thunk. Thunk. Thunk. Thud!"Got it!" she cried out and took onr of her nails, grown a little longer than normal, and slipped it into the wall, as if the wall wasn't there. She pulled down to the middle of the wall and then over. Then she lifted her finger, like she was trying to pull something out. A part of the wall slid out like a drawer. She reached in, pulled out the Blue Box and then closed it away again and the wall looked untouched. She turned back to Shawn with a smile on her face.

Shawn watches as Raksha opens her custom closet drawer. "Wow, very nice. I normally pull up the boards, but that works too." He opens the energy drink and begins to drink it. "Meh, I never liked Redbull, but I guess it helps."

[Midnight_Huntress]

"It was all the store had, and I needed to stock up. I prefer NOS or Monster." she said and shrugged. She placed the Box in her bag, hiding it neatly under some of her clothes, accidently knocking some out of the bag. With a blush she stuffed them back in and zipped it up. Okay, I need to check out and then we can go."

[Darth Revan]

"'Check out?' Where are you staying, if not here?"

Sorry about the post not attached to any dialogue or action, but just wanted to let y'all know that I'm going to be out of town until the afternoon/evening of Feb 7th, so feel free to mod my characters as much as is necessary to keep the story trucking in my absence. Tobias flies calmy around the building thinking to himself.<I wonder what is takeing them so long.>though they were in the city,he could see the yeerks still at Cassie's house,as they seemed to be just about ready to leave.

"You never camped out before? Wow, what a shelterd life." she laughed as she she grabbed up her bag and lifted it over her shoulder. "I use what I can. Sometimes I don't have places to stay, it happens when you travel." she said and gave him a smile.

[Darth Revan]

Shawn grabbed the other side of the bag, "You're not sleeping outside, not with the Yeerks on alert." He stares into her eyes contemplating his next words, "You can... stay at my place. My dad won't mind, and my mom's moved out, so you don't have to worry about her. We have an awesome couch, I've slept on it many times, you just melt to sleep."


Jake stood in the living room with his arms crossed, "Where the hell is he?"

Marco stood up. "Maybe they saw the Yeerks and decided to get the other cube."

Cassie looked confused, "Other cube?"

Marco answered, "Yeah, we found a girl who happened across a cube that must've washed ashore from the Domeship in the ocean."

Cassie looked incredulous, "Wow, a lot's happened today."

Rachel commented, "You can say that again."

Jamal gave a small wave, "Uh, I'm here too, ya know."

Rachel glared, "Yeah, we've already explained your part in this."

Jamal rolled his eyes, "Okaaay, I'll be... over there." He pointed back into the kitchen and left the room.

Jake looked out the window, "Tobias, would you fly to the nearest hotel, see if Shawn and Raksha are anywhere in sight?"

((I thought since it's you, me, and Mythic, I'd send you Shawn's way. ))
