Jake gave Cassie an empathetic look, "Your mom should be tied up at The Gardens until after nightfall, right? When is your dad supposed to be back from his investor's meeting? The Yeerks aren't dumb enough to think the blue box is hidden inside of an animal; besides, it's coming onto an hour since they started, they only have one more before being convinced they're not Andalites."

She bit her lip, thinking. "He's usually home by six, but it may be a little later tonight." She shook her head, her eyes wide. "Jake, how... how are we going to deal with this? Are you sure they won't try to capture them? It'll be easier than explaining some freak tornado came through."

Marco glanced up to Tobias, wondering how bad the situation really was, and what he wasn't telling them. The way Tobias had shifted what he was saying and then grown quiet made him suspect he was speaking privately to Jake, something that unsettled him greatly. "Something's rotten about this," he murmured to Ax.

Jake cracks a smile, "See? Sundown's been around 5 lately, and it's," He turns to Ax, "Ax, what time is it?"

<It is approximately 3:50pm.>

"Almost four. We got two hours to worry about. Even then, we can get Elayne or another Chee to distract them."


After answering Jake, he turned to Marco, <What does fruit have to do with this?>

Tobias calls down again this time in full thought speak.<Its ok Cassie..I could barely hear,but I think the yeerks said their going to look a half hour longer before their out of there.>he then sent the rest to only Jake.<They said they are not going to take a chance,so they are going to destory it all,the house,the barn...>he seemed to stopped in mid-sentence.

"But Jake..." she said quietly, "how can you know the Yeerks won't try to infest my parents when they get home? It seems like something like this is just too suspicious for them to take chances. Mom and Dad'll end up calling the police and making a huge scene out of it, and the Yeerks will shut them up then if not before." Her mouth had grown tight and her back rigid, looking more fearful than she had before. She knew the others had dealt with the threat--and reality--of close friends and family being infested before, but now it was her turn.

Marco lowered his voice and said to Ax, "Nothing, I just get a feeling Tobias is keeping information from Cassie. He's trying to soften what's really happening."

She flew anf landed in the alley beside the hotel. <Wait out here and I will open a window for ou. I have t check in and grab my stuff then I will check out of there completly.> she said and then shifted into her human self, dressed in her jeans and baby T-shirt. She walked in, checked in with the clerk and then took her room key and went upstairs. The first thing she did was open her window on the third floor.

((Tobias, isn't burning the house a little extreme? I mean I don't really think that's something they would do, let alone, Cassie's house was never burned in the books.))


Shawn landed on a fence while Raksha went into the hotel. When she opened the window, he flew inside and demorphed. Sweat was forming on his brow, "Phew, all this morphing is starting to drain my energy.

"What ability were you talking about?"

Tobias called down to everyone.<Wait..I think their just looking around just to make sure none of the animals are andalites in morphs.>



(sighs.*Fine..though the only thing from the book that I am useing is Tobias loseing himself now and then to the hawk)

Jake gave Cassie a reassuring smile, "There ya go, half an hour and you're in the clear. No cube, no more interest in your family. You're house isn't the only one in that direction you know."

They were about six blocks away from Erek's house, when Ax spoke up again, <Where is Shawn, Jake? I thought he was with you in the forest?>

"He's getting that new girl a bird morph so we can do some surveillance on Jamal." He looks in the air and only sees Tobias, "They were supposed to meet us at Erek's, but if we weren't there, they were supposed to go to the barn. There's no way he'd continue to the barn if he saw the Yeerks, so maybe he's still at Erek's?"

(Yeah whatever..doing that changes several ideas I had buddy....thanks..al ot  )


Tobias flaps around in the sky.<No controllers are following you,and you guys are all clear in the paith your going right now.>

((Sorry, if you really want it to happen, say so. It's your RP, I'm just saying that I personally don't think that the Yeerks would burn the house down, the smoke would attract too much attention, and that's not really what they want.

If you want to go that direction, I can delete my earlier posts, and modify my response. It's no big deal if you want.))

((Tobias, Parker wasn't giving you an ultimatum. He was simply asking a question. You don't have to speak to him as if he's screwing with your RP, and you don't have to employ a condescending or petulant tone. We're just here to have fun, right? Let's just relax.))

Cassie gave a small sigh and nodded. "Okay. Sorry, I'll calm down," she said to Jake and Tobias. "Thanks for keeping an eye out. I'm just worried," she added. "Let's head on to Erek's, okay?"

(I'm not speaking like he is screwing up the rp and that,and I wasn't haveing a tone.And yes we are here to have fun,but I also have plans for this rp that I want to try and go by,so far..I am likeing how this is going.)

Tobias nodded.<No problem,I don't mind helping you guys.>he softly chuckled.<After all I wouldn't be doing nothing better...well..hunt ing is important to me.>he says trying to get a joke in as he turned his head and looked back at Cassie's house.

Jake nodded his head, "Okay." They stayed in the alley ways so no one would notice a group of barely dressed teens running around town.

They reach Erek's house and Jake knocks on the back door.
