"Only because he'd be jealous," he winked at Cassie, who blushed and buried her head against Jake's neck. Looking pleased with himself, Marco only grinned at Rachel's punch. "You know you dig the idea of uniforms, Rachel. You could even design them--you're fashion-savy!"

Turning to follow them, he fell in stride beside Ax. "Dude, you still have so much to learn about the finer points of human society, you know that? Someday I'll take you into the comics store in the mall."

<Isn't that below the Victoria's Secret store? I find it most intriguing to go near that store in morph. My body seems to escape my control whenever I do. Human's inability to control one's emotions is very odd to us Andalites.>

Rachel shoots back, "Oh yes Marco, and I'll design a nice pink and orange bullseye on yours so the Yeerks can have an easier target." She grins at him once more before spinning around and walking away.

Tobias blinks and looks down as he hears all this..chaos going down below him.<Uh...should I go up and take a look around?>

Jake looks back to Tobias, "Yeah, bud, go ahead. Fly carefully."

Marco laughed at Ax. "Ew, man, too much information," he said, shaking his head. Glancing to Rachel, he smirked. "Gee, thanks. That's real sportsmanlike, there. You do recall we're on the same team, right?" He looked up to Tobias overhead and gave a little smile and salute of thanks for watching out for them.

Cassie smiled up to Jake and said quietly, "You know, as much as Rachel might disown me as her best friend for admitting this, I'm glad Marco's around. He brightens my mood."

Jake smiled back, "Aw, you know deep down, she enjoys their banters too."

Rachel shrugs at Marco and continues on without responding.

Ax tilts his head in curiosity, a trait he picked up from his friends, <What did I say?>

Tobias nods jumping off the branch and flies off into his home: the sky.<Thanks..and you guys be safe down there.>he calls down to all his friends,and yet when he addressed it to Rachel he ment it in a very kind way to her.

<I know better than that. Besides there is no safe in this hotel room. Stupid place is expensive, but cheap if you get my drift. No I know a better way to hide things.> she said remembering how she could hide things in walls or floors and no one would ever be the wiser.

<Good, I never use those things. I don't trust that the management and custodian staff are on the level. I like to make my own little caches.>

"It's true, although she'd never admit it," Cassie laughed to Jake with a nod, glancing back at Rachel.

"Aw, don't gimme that, Rachel," Marco gave her his most charming grin, and glanced to Ax, "Nothing, just, uh... don't gross out the girls, okay?"

<"Gross out"?> Ax tilts his head to the opposite side.

Jake continues to lead the team around to search party, "Tobias, how're we lookin'?"

Tobias nodded as he called down.<Yep,nothing in site.>he turned his head back.<The yeerks have nearly destoryed all of Cassie's house and their working on the barn now.>he hoped that they would stay out of his woods and meadow where he lived and hunted.

Jake instinctively squeezed Cassie, "Dude, a little discretion?" He kisses Cassie's forehead and says, "I'm sure he just meant the interior, your house is gonna hold up."

Tobias blinks softly then nodded.<Sorry...I...forgot,yeah her house is..holding up fine.>he then switched to a private thought speak to Jake.<Her house is about half way destoryed,their destorying the rest with dracon beams and the rest of the Yeerks are currently in the barn with twenty guarding it,I think their makeing sure they..get rid of all the animals that are in there,in case they their one of them is us.>

Cassie stiffened and pulled away from Jake to be able to look him in the eye. "But what about the animals in the barn?" She looked up at Tobias, her eyes widening. "And what about my parents? They'll clearly know something is wrong--they won't let them no be infested when they get home." An edge of panic began to rise in her voice.

Marco trotted ahead to stand with Jake and Cassie, privately agreeing with what she had surmised.
