Yes, but if noone cared, it wouldn't be annoying anymore.

Andalite because the advantages would outway the disadvantages.
Iskoort atleast contribute something (as George Gilder said business creates wealth indefinitly to think otherwise is jealousy and stupidity)
The yeerks are truely parasitic in mind as well as in body: contributing nothing, inventing nothing more than torture devices, not a species you would want to be... furthermore it reflects something wicked in us that the yeerks have a sort of glamour about them/it is fashionable to admire/pity them. When unlike their Iskoort cousins they (despite meeting the Arn and therefore having the oppurtunity) they choose instead of peacefully buying  new bodies and participating in peaceful trade, they chose to forcefully seize slaves through blood and empire...
If the Yeerks ever met the Iskoort, the Ellimist supposed that their good example would change the yeerks for the better (effectively making the Iskoort the Ellimist's chosen people) but perhaps the tyrannical statist yeerk empire would react the same way that tyrannical, statist imperialists on earth have reacted to the better example set by free marketed, peaceful moral 'middleman minorities' on earth: by elliminating them to avoid challenge to their tyranny.
I have just finished reading this amazing book by George Gilder, he often uses Thomas Sowell as a source in his discussion of the hostility often directed towards 'middleman minorities' and I am looking for Thomas Sowell on JSTOR but it seems he writes books mostly, I found this article that I haven't read (Not having access to a printer at present) that discusses middlemen minorities...
Sorry for going off topic, but this discussion gave me an amazing idea bunny.

It would be great if you could explain what exactly an "idea bunny" is... I didn't know that it was a choice on this thread...  :-\

I don't know it is can be just a sentence, a thing, a whole book, a few conversations that inspire you to either write an essay, a short story or even to think more deeply .
Like reading the Jatakas and then imagining different Jataka stories from different planets...
Anyway the conversations on this board, the woobiefication of yeerks generally, the contempt for iskoort and then reading george Gilder's book gave me an idea bunny: a moment or realisation and inspiration.

Ah, yes... That does make sense...

But, you'd still be Andalite? Despite the bunny?

Well yes, it is better to be a hypocrite with a tendency towards collateral damage but still defender of the free universe, than an evil parasite who destroys civilization and nature.

Andalite would be cool..but i don't get the hooves/eating thing..I'd have to go with Android like Erik.. watching civilisations get built and crumble, see new inventions century after century, spend lifetimes with so many people..it's like reincarnation..cept you dont die..

Actually, that's an interesting point... About the Andalites, I mean...
Makes me wonder exactly how much like the Andalites the Garatrons are... I mean, do they eat with their hooves?

But that's a topic for another thread... In fact... Hmmm...

Except Chee don't have sex and don't experience sexual desire (which is my major argument with stories that Ship Erek with anyone who isn't Chee) it would be like being a Jain, for eternity: non-violence, no sex, looking after animals. In my fanfiction (when I get back to writing it) characters will discover that the Chee are responsible for founding Jainism; and frankly only a species of asexual, non-violent, immortal, excessively animal loving, survivors of planetry destruction could be responsible for a religion that holds that life is a forest full of thieves and we are in a pit with snakes hanging onto a root eating honey, with ants stinging our face, and also there is a tiger... bad way of looking at life.

This is by far the most random sentence I've read.

yeerks have one ability they never exploited to their fullest, they can gain experience, insights, philosophies of those they infest, They can learn faster look at different point of views of different hosts, gain many insights by infesting different hosts, had they done that the animorphs probably would have been captured, their strategic prowess would increase, they would learn about compassion, freedom, and many human qualities that contrast with the empire's way of thinking and life. Their ability to infest and gain knowledgde plus insights would be useful in defeating the andalites, making creative inventions and other stuff, they could surpass the andalites intellectually.

The only problem with that is that the more hosts they have, yes, the more knowledge and experience they gain, but also the more mental and emotional baggage they gain... One Yeerk can only have so many hosts before going completely batty, imop...

I think the Yeerks are great at duplication, but not so much with innovation.

the yeerks are parasites: takers and users of other people, creating nothing themselves.
the random sentence refers to the jain allegory for life in which we are walking through a forest of thieves then chased by a tiger, till we fall down a pit, in which there is a snake, we cling onto a root, to avoid being bitten by the snake, and bees are stinging us as we drink honey from the beehive in the root, and the tiger is above us trying to eat us: moral of allegory: life is full of horror and people who try and cling to pleasure (the honey) are stupid.
