I refuse to let ANYONE from High School Musical in. Too many of their fangirls would become fake!anifans. I'd blow up a theater.

Haha, it's all good.

Just for the record, I personally loathe HSM and pretty much anything else Disney is producing these days.  But I do like just that one song.

If only I was more knowledgable about young actors, I would have some more, er, serious suggestions...

The actors that are right for an Animorphs cast should be people none of us are knowledgeable about yet.

I mean, they'd have to be 13-14, for one.  So, with pre-production and stuff, even if a script was being written right now and financing was being developed, the right kids would currently be like 10-11 years old.

So, like, yeah.  Unknowns.

But sometimes I can't help picturing Kevin Zegers as Tobias. But, of course, the younger Kevin Zegers.

I bet finding the right Rachel must be the toughest task..

Rachel would probably be the easiest, actually.  Just find a tall stereotypical model-looking girl with blond hair who isn't a total ditz.  They do exist.

Jake and Ax would probably be most difficult, I suppose.  Maybe Marco, since they'd have to be able to balance the goofball with that deadly serious intensity.
