I suppose it seems like I 'vanish' more than I do because I am a little to eager to let Y'all know that I'll be leaving, when it is, infact, a false alarm.
Mainly this is because I can't stand the idea of just up and leaving and not telling anyone. (Yes, I know Goomba...)
