I have an anifriend IRL actually. We use hotmail for roleplay (where both of us is everyone) But I don't think I'll ever find her here. She's more into Final Fantasy, but that's ok with me. We have some FF roleplays to and sometimes we even let characters from different series meet

That's nice. I actually got my cousin to read a few. I forgot because I haven't seen her in years. I like FF8. That was it for me. Does anyone else live in Florida?

Anyways, I have some questions for you. First, how did you even get into this series? It was popular when you were still too young to even read. Second, does this series carry that "childish" and "nerdy" association as it does for your generation as it does for mine? Unfortunately, Animorphs is typically associated with 90's nostalgia and book-fairs, so it doesn't get the recognition and respect that I think it should.

ah well...
1. I got into it years after the last book was published. the library had a lot of animorphs books, and I happened to like animals...
2. no... but in case it makes a difference, I pretty much live under a rock...
