(I decided to get rid of the robot rescue party. I can't think of much reason for Belzar to stay. I removed my last post.)

((Sorry for the post delay everybody. Felt like sleeping yesterday. ; ). How dare I! XD And after this post, I shall be leaving Keshin and Joanne there a while so she can guard him. :3 They shall return to the Bar in several post rounds! :D ))

Joanne stares down at the pool, watching Keshin dart around it. It's always weird seeing him like that. She's so used to Keshin merely being the disembodied voice in her head...and sometimes doesn't want to bring herself back to the reality that they are not the same. Joanne sighs. Guess I'd better switch that gun out. Kess can get it workin' later.

She then sits up and darts towards their quarters, picking up the Dracon she left on the table next to their bed. She looks it over, noting that the weapon seems alright. She then puts it in her holster and sits next to the pool, waiting for her friend to return.

Mar nods a bit, shrugging. "Yes, yes. It doesn't seem as though that would go well for you. Being an outcast can make progress slow in the early stages of one's life. Unless you're particularly ambitious. But you don't seem the type. But this Bar is home to any number of people, several of whom might find your companionship...hel pful. See what you can dig up, boy."

Mar gestures about him, nodding at Elayne when she reappears. "The multiverse is a massive and strange place. Though your presence in another place could hurt it, that isn't really my problem. You are one boy...and a boy without any place to go." Mar frowns, as if this thought hits something at the edges of his mind.

Elayne nodded to confirm some of what Mar was saying. "This isn't a bad place to be. It's usually a bit more crowded than it is now." She gave a small grin. "After you got yourself a few more flying lessons I might be tempted to hire you as a pilot for my ship, but it seems we're from different worlds, so that would introduce only more chaos into my timeline, which is not what I need now. Still, you could probably find work here in some capacity."

((I'm making a grand return! I hoped to bring a Time Lord with another TARDIS to the bar. I'm not bringing The Doctor, but a different Time Lord. Would that be okay?))

Trey finishes his water, not responding to Mar immediately. He still feels a bit put off by the strange man, and his tone of voice is unnerving. Setting the empty glass next to where he is sitting on the table he gives the man a small apologetic smile before turning back to Elayne. She had cleaned herself up ever so slightly and Trey was once again struck by the strange feeling that he had seen her before. Earlier he had passed this feeling by - he had more important things to worry about, like the hole in his head and his dead father - but now that he was a bit calmer he definitely could tell that he knew her from somewhere.

"Different worlds?" Trey echoes, "are you...sure?"

"Different realities, dimensions, times... something," Elayne shrugged, watching Trey set down the glass. "Yeah, pretty sure. There's no Nothlit Assimilation Team on my Earth." She looked around the Bar, then back to him. "The people here are from all over, both spatially and temporally. I've even met someone from my own past. Things got a little hairy when I indirectly gave him some information," she added, glancing at Mar before lowering her eyes. "So be careful if that happens to you, alright? You don't want to end up disappearing or something."

((Hey Parker...if I can bring a mortal, extremely limited, and confused as hell variation of what's basically the Devil into the Bar and somehow play him without godmoding...then you can do anything in this place. XD All you have to do is limit the power, influence, and clarity of the character's mind enough so that he/she/ohgodwhatisthat can interact with the others equally and reasonably. And make it so that the character has a clear identity and history outside the Bar to make conversations interesting. ; ) Just keep in mind that this works a hell of a lot better with totally original or Animorphs OCs because they can deal with the Bar's Animorphs setting easier. Though I wouldn't mind a Time Lord or two wandering around. x3 ))

Mar groans, waving his hand a bit. "After what just happened with dear Elayne, I would not want some kid from heaven knows what place to cause dimensional interference. I don't need to retch twice in the same day, boy." Mar then glances at Treyliss and states, "And yes, Elayne has it right. Several people here are from the same multiverse and time. The Bar seems to prefer the setting. But others are from entirely different locations in terms of universe and place. You seem to be one of the latter."

"My universal status is a bit of a blur, on the other hand," Mar mutters. "I seem to prefer to spend my time in particular universes, as do most Dark side Highest. This place isn't even on my territory, which complicates matters. You'll need to seek out help without upsetting the balance, so avoid anyone from any variation of your world. Elayne's universe may be too close, or it may be safe. It is hard to say."

Trey furrows his brow, looking torn between confusion and disappointment.

"You mean...I shouldn't talk to Elayne?" He asks, skipping over the whole 'Highest' bit, as well as Mar's explanation of self. He didn't understand a word of it, and had a twisted feeling that he would not like the explanation if he asked for it. "That's not fair, she's the one who saved me..."

Trey shakes his head, trying to clear it, but everything remains a bit fuzzy. He looks down at the body of his father and wonders why he is not suffering from deeper despair. If anything he feels numb to the situation.

Elayne shook her head as she watched Trey. She didn't want to abandon the boy; he had interesting things to say about Yeerk rebellions, and he looked pitiful enough that he evoked whatever nurturing instincts she had. "We don't know that you shouldn't for sure, Trey. Who knows, you could be from an entirely different version of Earth, and no action either one of us takes could really effect the other. But there's a chance you're from my Earth, so... we should be careful until we know."

She frowned a little and turned her head to look up at Mar. "How do we know, exactly? Is there a way to find out before we do something that could cause another time fiasco?"

Mar blinks, thinking about this. As far as he can tell, there's really no way he can figure out at this level of thought whether Trey's universe would interfere with Elayne's universe. He then puts his hand on his chin. Actually...wait a minute.

Mar glances at Elayne and says, "I do know a way we could find out, but the person I would need to assist me in this matter is not in the Bar with us. I would normally be able to find out on my own, but in my current state that isn't an option. We would have to wait until my friend comes back to know for sure, and he doesn't like doing what we'd need to do. But..."

Mar thinks and then turns to Trey. "...the Bar is a place where universes can cross and interact without fear. Unless you leave the Bar and attempt to make a change to your own world, you should be able to interact with Elayne without too many problems That is, unless your universe exists in the future of Elayne's universe and thus talking to her would effect her past when she leaves. But...I highly doubt that. It's probably safe as long as you don't do anything stupid. That latter bit is more what I'm worried about."

((Yay! I finally figured out a name/title for my character! That took 3 days. Finding a Time Lord name that would work without being lame. I'll work on his entrance once I get on my laptop.

((Also, remember Shen, Thordon can control energy, so if you just need a power boost, you can ask Thordon. Especially since I'm back and paying attention to the RP again. ;D He's in a trance at the bar.))

(I have screwed up Belzar. I don't know how to get him a translator without being rescued, and I don't have a good motive for him to stay after being rescued. Save helping Terenia after the others show up with Tamora. I may try again with something else.)

((Chad, I think my Time Lord character could get you one. Where is your character?))

Just to the side of the bar, a small shuttle seemingly materializes out of nowhere. A 5' 9" man with short dark brown hair opens the shuttle door like it was on hinges, odd for a space shuttle. He walks out and looks around with wild eyed curiosity. He wanders to a couple of parked ships and begins looking them over. He kicks a few and knocks on a few others. He takes a small flashlight out of his black trenchcoat and shines it at one and puts his ear to the hull. He gives the ship a small hug with a wide smile. With a departing pat, he heads toward the bar with his hands in his pockets.
