((The Bar needs more people for us to talk to. Kelly Sad Mode. )= Once this is finished, no leaving the Bar for a while!

))
Keshin, having entered the Bar, sits down casually and orders up a tall glass of orange juice. It does not take long to reach him, and for a while the two of them sit contentedly. It's the first time they have been able to relax at all during the day. Keshin notes that the machine and Terenia are having yet another bizarre conversation. Though it's not like they have anything better to do until Terenia's associate arrives. <What do you make of that guy, anyway?>
<Terenia's sister's Yeerk? Dunno yet. We haven' met 'im. But anybody that threatens somebody else ain't alright in my book. Though maybe he's got dough. The robot's just plain weird.>
<We'll have to see. Looks like the two lovebirds are still going at it. Figures.>
Keshin waves and gives Elayne a slight smile, and then gets back to his orange juice.

Mar gives Elayne an ironic smirk. "I'd say you did fairly well considering. I spend most of my time either manipulating the public, slogging through pointless paperwork, and dealing with people I don't want to see at the moment. My business has the highest employee mortality rate of any place in the world, and my friends have this tendency to get murdered. At least we share certain commonalities. Everyone hates me, too." Mar snickers, and then blinks oddly. "...I haven't really talked about any of this before. To anyone. In this body, at this time...I wonder what in the world I was so
afraid of."
Mar then shrugs. "Why so practical all the time, Elayne? Showing off uselessly is just as much fun as providing a service, if not more so. It would certainly gain you a lot more ground in that world of paranoid humans that you mentioned. They react well to smoke and mirrors. I would know."
