<The added risk of having it take place on Earth may be worth it. This is an ambush we are talking about, so we want our target to be as off guard as possible. It may even be feasable to set up a trap there. Like activating a force field generator, or planting knock out gas bombs.>

"Well, it started pretty early." Sukohn said. "Back when the Andalite Dome landed in the ocean, and parts of it made it to shore. We were searching, and found footprints that ended in the ocean. We managed to find some Human clothing, and no sign of the Humans. different things also tipped us off, like the drastically low number of Human casualties and one Andalite actually going a bit berserk if a Human is threatened. Even if that Human is a controller."

"There was one time that they got into the pool, and a Taxxon got to them. They morphed and burst out, and a Yeerk managed to get a close look at them. He swore up and down that it looked like a Human covered in entrails, but everyone laughed at him. Little things like that add up, but our "glorious" Visser never listened."

Alic sat silently at the bar through Elayne and Mar's conversation, not wanting to interrupt, and not being too interested either way. She had refilled her glass two more times, and the rum was definately starting to take effect. She was okay now, but she knew if she stood up that she would not be able to stay up. Alic pushed the bottle and glass away

(Fletcher is sitting around in the bar. He stayed behind. Hunter, the pirates are all in The Cursed Pride Adventure thread. Sorry I didn't send a message about it.)

((And I'm waiting on Tara.  :p   *growls at Kelly for the thwack*  Not fair...you know you're safe...but thanks for the well-wishes!  :D  It was a good weekend for me...now to sleep and get up for work in four hours.... o_o  Might possibly go to see Avatar 3D for the fourth time tomorrow after work, but it's a BIG if, barely a plan at all.  But yeah, everyone spoiled me this weekend, I had fun.  :)  No fun if you know what I mean, but lots of good times, a few drinks, and hanging out with friends and family.  Mom and my step-dad brought me a crapload of food.  It was great to get away from work and school and forget about everything for a bit. <(^.^<)  <(^.^)>  (>^.^)>   <(^.^)>  Anyway, will post after Tara 'cause she has to answer my question...  :P  ))

Myitt shrugs.  "I trust him as much as I trust almost everyone else, which is not very much, I'm afraid.  I only really trust Corliss, Reven and a few of you guys from the bar.  But Hadrin is a good soldier, and he's served the rebellion loyally for many years.  There is always the risk of him turning on us, but I really wouldn't expect it from him."  She looks at Ossanlin, Terenia and Claxter in turn.  "So, which shall it be?  The bar sounds like it's out of the equation, so Earth, or an abandoned Andalite fighter?  Earth may be a safe place for Zorish, but it certainly isn't a safe place for the rest of us."  She pauses, considering.  "But then again, he would scan a ship for life forms.  We can't be on it, or he'll know it's a trap.  I guess I'll vote for someplace on Earth.  Maybe an abandoned lab or warehouse someplace, like you've suggested."

Keshin listens carefully to Sukohn's list of reasons, frowning slightly. <Huh. He's right. There's a definite weirdness to these supposed Andalite guerillas.>

<But still, that's weird ain't it Kess? How would they have gotten the morphin' thingy? You said the Andalites were real careful.>

<Maybe they've gotten desperate. I don't know if that's good or bad.>

Keshin stares on at Sukohn. "....yeah, this would definitely be worth looking into. We'll ask the human woman for you. But you know...it's the kind of information that might cause a lot of trouble on Earth. You sure you want to be spreading this around?"
*******************************************************************************************************************
Mar grins at Elayne, taking a sip of the deep red wine. "No no, my dear. I am getting drunk because I find it entertaining to relax in this bar with a person in similar circumstances. Though I have gone much farther with my little war, and have rather less noble reasons than your own. And yes..." Mar smirks. "...I've been here a few days, and that bartender's stony expression has never changed. Although...he seems to be very particular about debt. He killed Myitt in exchange for restoring a life, and I was forced to bring her back with a friend of mine."

"Well, it's hard to resist the urge. I don't really care so much about climbing the ladder as some Yeerks, mainly because all the Vissers I know are Coo Coo for Coacoa Puffs."

(Man I'm enjoying using Human references! This is fun.)

"But we do need to be on the winning side of this war, and we've already lost Leera. You know if the andalites win, it means either genocide for us, or being trapped on our planet with death by shredder beam for anyone brave eough to reach out from the pools again. I don't like to say this in front of other Yeerks, but sometimes I think the Council's decision to betray the Andalites may not have been the best idea. Leastways not that soon."

"We need Earth. It's just that simple."
