<Voluntary is voluntary,> Terenia says with a scowl, <you can't make exceptions. Almost every voluntary controller made their decision because it was the only way out they saw. If you start splitting hairs now, you'll never stop. The only reason Ossanlin is making an exception is because Efaen is an Andalite, and the only reason you are is because you wouldn't mind mating with her.>

<And you,> Terenia glares at Sukohn, <you would do well to listen to this young warrior. When his prince returns and sees an imperial here I'm sure he will be none too happy, especially if your host is involuntary. This isn't a safe place for those who serve the Empire.>

Claxter was embarrased when Terenia just burted out that he'd like to mate with Efaen. He was sullen because she did have a point. He just didn't like being called stupid. He wished he could just storm off, but he couldn't. He would just have to deal with her abrasiveness for now. The less he said the better.

"This isn't an Andalite controlled zone. I have just as much right to be here as anyone. Though it's true an Andalite Prince isn't anything to snub my nose at, as opposed to you kiddies. As far as my host, I guess you could call him involuntary in the sense that I don't let him do what he most enjoys in life."

Morgan turned to the crew member who was sitting at navigation.

"Let's get her going!" he said.

"Right away, Cap'n!" the crew member replied.

Morgan stood behind the chair and watched as the ship lifted off from the ground and prepared to leave the space bar.

"About to leave atmo," the crew member reported.

(Ok! We've gotten to the point where I'm going to start a separate thread for this little adventure.)

<Well I wouldn't be announcing that fact to the patrons of this fine place,> Terenia says the word 'fine' as though it is a bit of a curse, <and I'm not someone you would snub your nose at either, kid.> Terenia is about to say something else harsh, but decides not to push the topic. An imperial in the bar could be the closest she comes to an ally.

<My name is Terenia,> she says, by way of introduction, <let me guess, you sort of showed up here without intending to and decided to stop in for a drink?>

"I was looking for an out of the way vacation spot after finding about an error where someone put me on the KIA list. Decided to take advantage of that and take some time off before going back to Visser Two. I didn't think I'd find a bar in space, but I figured that was an excellent deal. It's not the safest place for me, but any bar that's safe and cozy is no good bar at all. For the record I don't take the andalite Yeerk conflict personally, meaning I'm not the kind of Yeerk that cries Andalite Filth and shoots the first Andalite I see. I try to be professional and keep my emotions in check. I'm Sukohn in case you didn't hear that before."

"I Don't know how you nabbed an Andalite host, but I can't imagine the girl being voluntary. I'll take your word for it, though. I'm like you, Terenia, I look out for myself first. Those who are useful to me come second, and those who cause me trouble can just hit the road."

Myitt smirks at Terenia's spitting comment back at Claxter.  She shakes her head.  "Hey, I'm not arguing against your little relationship with your Andalite host.  I'm sure you both have your reasons for remaining together.  I just know Ossanlin well, and I know that he won't see beyond allowing any Andalite-Controller without a very strict series of checks and balances.  Although, in my opinion, having a tracking device implanted while in the service of someone as paranoid as Visser Three would likely make your situation much more dangerous than it already is."

She glances irritably at Sukohn.  He was becoming drunk and spouting all sorts of foolish things...but perhaps he would be helpful.

"So, Sukohn, just how exactly do you intend to reinsert yourself into Imperial society?" Myitt asks with a smile.

"I think I said before that I'm not very important. I'm just a low rank grunt. I'm thinking I could just show back up and say 'hey, I bet you thought I was dead. But I'm not.'. I might get reprimanded by my superiors for not coming back, but Visser Two isn't axe crazy like Visser Three is. He just sometimes goes on a bit about the glory of the Yeerk Empire and all that. I don't think I'll get shot down. It just wouldn't be worth it. Of course, i could be worng and end up in more trouble than I think."

In truth he had been a little worried about that, but if he came back with a prize or two, it would really decrease his chanced of getting in big trouble. Like handing over someone with future information like myitt's friend from before. If he was feeling really gutsy, he might even kill that Prince they were talking about. He wasn't drunk enough to think he could capture the guy alive, but even the greatest warrior is felled by a single arrow. Or dracon beam, as the case may be. He also wasn't drunk enough to say any of that out loud.

Elipir 851 has listened to the chatter among the patrons and has heard about a CG facility performing some odd experiments on humans. He couldn't allow that to happen. To see a species as unique as that get exploited like this! He listened in on a bunch of patrons planning to wipe out one of their facilities and watched them go into a ship. He however, couldn't follow them, because he was uncertain on whether there was a kandrona supply onboard, so he did the next best thing. He planted a bug when no one was looking, and when the ship took off, he wasted no time in getting in his fighter and punching in the coordinates for the autopilot. ((OOC: Yeah, I wanted to do something unique, so why not just follow them from a distance?))

<Nice to meet you Sukohn,> Terenia says dryly, <you seem to have a fair amount of opinions and no problem with letting others hear them. I admire your courage, although I think you're a bit foolish for it.>

<Maybe you're right, Myitt,> Terenia admits, <but I can't stay on this rock forever. I bought myself time, maybe even a lot of time, but not forever. Is Ossanlin really going to put his people in jeopardy because of Efaen? How do I get him to see past his own biases?>

Joanne glances over the strange weapon several times. "Odd thing you've got there. And yeah, the Dracon's a laser weapon. You guys are at that level of tech where you are? Well..." Joanne rubs the back of her head. "Guess you couldn' even get here if you wasn't. But you never know with this old place."

Joanne sits up and glances at the conversation going on between Terenia and the others. "Man. That girl's always rousin' everybody up."

Mar smirks at Ossanlin's voice, following his thought-speech through the woods. It takes him a little while, but he soon comes upon Aliciania and Ossanlin glancing at some very unusual flowers. Mar laughs. "Lovebirds. Always staring at some pretty sight together. I always wished for something similar. Sadly, I've never been in such an easy position. The woman I love thinks of me as a mere pest. How utterly ignorant she is of all the other things I might be."

Mar paces about the grassy field and then notes, "I was wondering where you were. Next time you decide to pretend to be an Imperial, avoid getting horribly lost in the backwaters of the Bar." Mar frowns. "...I am different here, aren't I? In this Bar where I have nothing to worry about and no one is trying to kill me. So many fights occur here, and yet the place and my mortality are the great equilizers."

Ossanlin squeezes Alic's hand again and looks at Mar as he enters the clearing.  <Well, thankfully we have a lot of time here, but our situations are far from uncomplicated.>

Ossanlin chuckles a bit.  <Myitt?  Well, I think she's a little put off by your methods...the whole claim that you own her soul and such...I don't think that one's a winner with her.>  Ossanlin shrugs.  <She's pretty eccentric, but that's one of the things I really like about her.  She's been a friend since I found this place.>  Ossanlin gestures with his free hand.  <And she's been loyal.  Rather amazing when you think about it.>

<If you're speaking of the difference between your current self and your whole self, then yes...there's a massive difference.  For instance, your other form wouldn't have given hide nor hair about where I was.  But you, you came out into the night fumbling through a forest looking for me.  Your current form may be limited in certain ways, but in other ways it has greater capabilities than your true form.  Emotion is a powerful thing, especially with humans.>  Ossanlin smiles at Mar again, drinking in the flowers one last time before looking at Alic with his main eyes, his stalk eyes on Mar.  <Shall we head back into the maelstrom?>

((Sorry for the long post guys. X3 Hunter hasn't posted yet, so I will wait on that one. ^^ At least it's easier to type in the forum boxes now. : )  ))

Mar nods, thinking to himself, his hand poised on his chin. "Yes, I think we shall. ...I tire already of this damned forest, though it may be an excellent place for flirting Andalites to feast and observe." Mar grins at Aliciania. "He is quite nice, isn't he? The great and capable Andalite Prince. I certainly hope you two meet here often enough to develop things further, although..." Mar glances around the Bar oddly. "...this place has a peculiar effect on Time and Space in general, distortion of Reality that it is. You may have all the time in the world. This nearly identical yet wholly different representation of my current dominant persona in mortal form would not be possible in any other location."

"As for Precious..." Mar pauses in his speech, looking disturbed. "...what I was promised I will recieve, though I am suddenly wary of the consequences of this action of mine. What is the use of having what I want if it becomes damaged in the process? This is not something I would have considered at the time, and I can't technically give it back. Still, the constant taxing of my resources on the venture will end as soon as Myitt passes."

"I have also been meaning to ask you something," states Mar in confusion. "Why do you continue to restrict that human called Terenia? I suppose I can understand your position on the enslavement of your own race, but this may endanger all of us. I have gathered that this...Visser Three is a madman and cannot easily be reasoned with, and that he also bears great power. There are many greater cases of lost liberty than this one, and none that carry such obvious risk. Terenia is merely a self-centered fool, like so many mortals of the world."

Myitt keeps on smiling at Sukohn.  "Visser Two.  If it's the same Visser Two I know, then I wish you all the best of luck in reestablishing yourself within his ranks."  She leaves it at that, still wary of the Imperial, and turns back to Terenia with a good view of Sukohn out of her peripheral vision.  Joanne, too, isn't far away.  Too many people here were putting her on edge.  Far too many.

"As for Ossanlin, Terenia, perhaps I could speak with him?" she says.  "I don't know how much weight my opinion will hold, but Corliss trusted you, and I think you're nuts, but hell, who isn't in this place?"  She giggles, sounding very much like a college student amused by some internet meme.  "Ahh...otherwise, I'm not sure what would convince him, unless again you had some way of proving your infestation wasn't permanent, and that it wasn't a real danger to the Andalite people--just an affront, of course, as expected."  She shrugs lightly.  "Other than being tracked, and reporting memory dumps back to Ossanlin, I don't know how that could be accomplished."

((ok, heres a post.. time for bed...))

<If you didn't have to run off, interacting with Terenia could have been amusing though.> Alic welcomed Ossanlin's tail around hers. It was moments like these she treasured and was able to forget that she had nothing else.
<I am also happy to be out here with you.> It was definately better than the old space bar that was starting to get crowded. Alic couldn't reply to Mar's comments. It made her uncomfortable discussing her relationship with Ossanlin.. Or hearing about it.
As for speaking about Myitt.. Of course you wouldn't want someone who claimed to own you. But that was their situation to figure out, no way was she stepping in the middle of that. Nor was she too interested in Mar's "other form" they were speaking of.
Alic seemed to be lost in thought and wasn't keeping track of the conversation. <Huh? Oh.> She smiled at Ossanlin. <Sure, let's see what kind of hell has broken loose now.> She took a mental note to remember this spot in the woods.
