((Whoa, sorry for the delay guys x3))
Myitt seems to ease up when Mar steps out of the bar again, and she sits back down, still staring into her glass of water.
Corliss steps over. "What's eating you, love?"
"I've got to get those groceries back to the base," she murmurs.
"Is that all you're worried about, then?" Corliss laughs. "I'll take the bloody Bug and unload 'em, if you want. It's been a while, haven't seen our new digs yet."
"Yeah, I guess so," Myitt sighs. "You want the keys?"
"Very funny," says Corliss, still grinning. Glancing at the people nearest them, Elayne and Terenia, then around at the other bar denizens, he adds, "I'll be back I suppose. This place has a funny way of drawing you in."
"Isn't that what I've been trying to tell you all these years?" Myitt says wryly.
Corliss pats Myitt on the back. "See ya, then."
"Be careful with my ship," she calls after him as Corliss walks out of the bar.
Myitt sighs and looks back at her glass of water, half full.
At the mention of Jurassic Park, some radar inside her goes off.
<Jurassic Park! Ooh, ooh, lemme talk!>
Myitt looks over at Terenia and Elayne, amused. Tara continues. "You know," she says conversationally, "Jurassic Park was always my favorite goddamn movie." She pauses, and Myitt adds, "Although, really, Tara, before that it was The Land Before Time." She takes on a sour expression. "Semantics," Tara sneers.
