<I never had any fun either until I got here. Now I feel like I'm forgetting I'm supposed to be a Warrior. Do you want to go back inside the bar, or stay out here? Efaen and I managed to have a little fun here. Maybe you could too. Though I'm not sure what Humans consider fun.>

Terenia laughs, a smirk of amusement in her eyes, <Neither am I, to be honest. It's been a long time since I was on Earth, and when I was I was just a child. Yes, let us return to the bar,> her stalk eyes follow the general direction that the Imperial-clad Ossanlin had run, <I suppose Ossanlin will be fine. Besides, if he does die that may make my leave all that much easier. Let's go, then, bodyguard.>

She begins to trot back to the bar, uneasy with the fact that Claxter is so resolved to watch her, but not really knowing how to change that fact.

<I do not mind,> Efaen says silently.

Claxter followed Terenia back to the bar. He noticed the Hork-Bajir and even larger unknown alien had left, which made him feel more at ease.

Elayne gave a disdainful scowl. "An eye for an eye? I don't believe in that. Humans're better than that. Isn't that what being a better person's all about--showin' mercy, empathizin'?" She sat back, wobbling a little. "An' if that isn't motivation enough for some, the Yeerks got a lot to teach us. If we take their knowledge an' abuse it--use it against 'em--we're no better than they are, and maybe it's th' ruthless humans th' Andalites'll be fightin' next."

((Hey, is that newer big guy of Hunters' still around or not? It'd be funny for Keshin to try and talk to him. x3 I'll delete my post if not. ))

Keshin notes that the strange new creature hasn't moved from his spot and frowns. Whoever he is, he must be something like the newer others in that he doesn't have very many associates in the Bar. <It would be interesting to try and find out what he's doing here, other than getting a drink.>

<Yeah, why not Kess. We don't have anythin' better ta do. Other than bug Myitt.>

Keshin then walks towards the dangerous-looking "man" and waves, giving a sort of half-hearted smile. "Um, hello. How's the Bar treating you?"

Mar laughs in a rather nasty fashion, which is probably the alcohol taking away most of his inhibitions. "Oh don't be ridiculous. Most human beings are bigoted, self-centered fools who pretend to have morals but then throw them away when it's convenient. Humans rarely treat the losers well in this world. You, my dear..." Mar smiles oddly. It's not a good look. "...are a bit of an exception, you know. Drunk or not. You likely either have Yeerk friends or a bigger heart than most."

Elayne gave Mar a narrow-eyed glare that was somewhat less biting than she would have hoped, thanks to the alcohol. "Laugh if you like; it makes you just like everyone else." She downed the rest of her beer and growled. "I don't care what th'hell you think. Humans an'Yeerks can be compatible, but humans have to stop hating 'em first."

She slid off her bench, clutching the bar to keep upright, and turned her eyes to the bar's door, deliberating whether she could make it out on her own or not. She fished around her pocket and tossed a crumpled American twenty on the bar.

Terenia walks back into the bar, looking around with a bit of a sigh. Everything seems more or less how it was before she left it. She contemplates having another drink, but somehow the idea seems unappealing.

((Keshin is a Human Controller, but hardly what you'd call Imperial. His relationship with his female host Joanne is closer to the relationship between Tara and Myitt. For some bizarre reason, I refer to Keshin as "he" and Joanne as "she" when either of them speak, despite the fact that they share the same body. This is either because I'm insane (x3 ) or because Keshin simply does not identify with Joanne's gender. They together make one fairly accomplished bounty hunter with very serious health problems.

Their description has been posted earlier somewhere, but for short they're a rather ordinary short brown-haired, brown/hazel-eyed female. Carrying a Dracon and wearing a black baggy jumpsuit of sorts with armor on it. ^^ ))

With a lurch, Elayne disengaged from the bar and moved towards the door, glad there weren't too many obstructions in the way. She was eager to hang on to her dignity, especially after what Mar had said to her. Already aware she appeared to be a petulant and naive child, she wasn't keen on reinforcing his opinion by falling on her butt.

She had almost reached the door when she realized an Andalite was standing in her way. Stopping short, she frowned at her as if she were a puzzle she had to figure out.

<What do you want?> Terenia asks with a bit of a scowl as a human blocks her way. Or at least, what appears to be human. It seems as though the majority of the humans in this bar are pirates, Yeerks, Andalites in morph, or something else not at all human. She glares at her, hoping to scare her off.

<Excuse us please.> Claxter said from behind Terenia when he noticed another patron in the way.

Elayne gave the Andalite a scowl of her own, the focus of which shifted to Claxter as he entered behind her. "Come on through," she muttered with a roll of her eyes, turning to the side to let them by, if they wished. She moved a little too quickly, however, and her foot caught the leg of a nearby chair, causing her to land in the seat with an "oof!" At this, she let out a string of curses so foul she made herself wince. Or maybe it was her spinning head that caused the wince. In either case, she was now thoroughly pissed off.

Terenia's scowl turns into a smirk of amusement as Elayne falls. It makes her feel somewhat better than she isn't the only person in the bar falling all over herself.

<Bad day, human, if that's what you are?> Terenia asks, <Don't feel too bad, I bet mine was worse.>
