(Just an intro post of your character entering the bar. A basic description wouldn't hurt either. Nothing complicated. Original characters highly encouraged, but they can be from a fan universe. You can reveal backstory as you go later on.)

(The basic idea is the bar is this random place where people show up from random universes. You can come in and people will interact with you when you come in.)

Taking a quick look around the table, he removed his Thompson M1A1 SMG and placed it on the floor, with the back of the barrel leaning up against his chair.

Seeing the one that had called herself Gelia offer her hand for a shake, John shook her hand, but when he let go, he had the strange feeling that his entire right arm just got much colder than it was before.

Just remembering that his pistol had been left in the Infirmary of Morgan's ship, John said "Morgan, I just remembered that I left something in the Infirmary on your ship. Mind if I run in and grab it?"

"Yeah, but Terenia, it was still her decision to join The Sharing; she couldn't have known what it really was, not at first," says Corliss.  "If she's decided the Yeerk Empire is a more valuable cause than the continued existence of the human race, that's also not your fault.  She's just been brainwashed by the same idiotic propaganda we grew up with.  Don't you understand?  You can't beat yourself up for something like this."

"Wait, wait, wait," Myitt says, walking closer to Efaen and staring the Andalite in the main eyes.  "Efaen, right?  My name is Myitt.  I'm with this guy over here."  She jerks a thumb at her sibling, Corliss.  "It sounds like you're one of those kinds of people who only sees what you want to see.  You see Yeerks, and you put blinders on, and see only the enemy.  If I were like you, you'd probably be dead right now.  Luckily for you, I like to think before I act.  And before I speak.  Honestly, can you tell me that you've never heard rumors of civil unrest within the Yeerk Empire?"

((Sithsnipah, welcome to the bar, but I highly suggest you read over a large number of posts to get a sense of how people here interact and write.  Please make sure that your character is original, even if it is from a fan universe; for example, don't walk in as a cartoon character or Master Chief.  Try to think of an original personality with his or her own history and development.  You don't need a character sheet, instead you can just walk in with a sufficiently descriptive introductory post.  And let us know if you have any questions.  :) ))

((Okay, so I think I'm getting the hang of this... Oh, and I actually DO have a character sheet for Mileak... :P))

Mileak looks around the ever-filling table, take another shot of Whiskey, and sits back, trying not to distrubt the conversation.
He takes out a small book, bound in leather, and covered in ingravings of the same type of creatures as are on his staff. He opens it to a page in the middle, glances over at an Andalite, back to the book, and then puts the book  back away again.

Gelia took a drink of her Laratin, and leans back.  Being a newcomer in the bar, she really had nothing to talk about.  She didn't particularly want to talk about her past.  But if it got around to that...whatever.

She noticed Mileak take out a book, glance over at the other table, then put it back.  "What was that?"  She asked, mildly curious.

Alic glares at Efaen for a moment for the cut she made on Ossanlin. Hmph, she couldn't even control herself. She pitied Efaen for having to go through the torture of having that yeerk-human in her head, but that was no excuse.
Alic's body tensed as Terenia spoke through the new host she was in. She didn't think this was such a good idea, but knew not much harm could come from her. Too many of us, one of her. Odds were not in Terenia's favor.

Mileak looks at Geilia for a moment, thoughtfully, "It's a book from my world. A sort of... History book. You see, where I'm from there are-- Well, there were all sorts of animals other places call "mythical"and "magical", well... I was looking at those blue fellows-- Ladies?-- over there, and was thinking how much they looked like Cenataurs, and I checked in my book... The Cenataurs in my world don't look much like that.. Although, truthfully, I haven't personally seen one since I was a small child. But, still, I never knew they had blades, and two extra eyes..." He takes another shot, and then starts again, happy to have something to say for once, he isn't normally a big talker, "Honestly, I can't believe there are any Cenataurs, or Minataurs, or Dragons left! I've always been told the last "mythical" creature--A Minatuar, and a Cenataur, they died in each others arms-- died about 120 years ago, right before we left our planet, Father said it wasn't safe there anymore... I've only been back once since-- And, I'm talking too much, sorry, darlin'." He takes a drink of water, and sits back, looking at Geilia, waiting for her to say something.

<Rumors are just that,> Efaen says to Myitt stiffly, <and more likely than that they are ruses meant to distract us from our cause. If a rebellion does exist, it certainly does not speak for the majority of your species, and it is vastly outnumbered. Such a group would never succeed, and it is not in the nature of a Yeerk to set themselves up for failure.>

Terenia remains silent, but it is clear she does not buy Corliss' argument. Abruptly, without saying another word, she stands and walks back over to the container that had been holding her previously. For a long moment she stares into the murky water before sighing heavily, tilting her head, and disconnecting from Zoshonel. A moment later she falls into the pool with a heavy 'plop'. Efaen watches the entire scene without emotion.

Corliss' gaze follows Terenia/Zoshonel as Terenia leaves her temporary host.  He frowns, looking concerned, and goes over to Zoshonel, helping him stay on his feet.

"You all right, mate?" he asks quietly.

Myitt on the other hand is not impressed with Efaen's little rant.

"Tell me, Efaen," she says conversationally, "aren't there rumors that some Andalites commit such acts of atrocity as betraying their own people for the benefit of the Yeerk Empire?  And aren't there rumors that some others, besides your cultural pariah Seerow, actually sympathize with Yeerks, presumably because these Yeerks are trying to help the Andalite people?"  She gestures to Ossanlin and Alic.  "Yet the latter rumor is clearly true.  And it may disappoint you as much as it disappoints me, but I have seen Andalites turn against their own people in service of the Yeerk Empire.  I've seen Andalites die at the hands of other Andalites, at the Empire's orders.  And I've stopped it from happening again.  We've lost many friends and allies, trying to help your people and the victims of Imperial expansion."  She leans closer, smiling dangerously.  Her voice is barely above a hiss.  "You can choose to believe your anti-Yeerkish propaganda.  You can decide the rebellion doesn't exist, and that I'm just spouting lies.  You can even believe that most Yeerks don't agree with such a resistance.  But don't you dare doubt the ability of our organization to turn the tide of this war."

<The Andalites are not unblemished,> Efaen admits begrudgingly, <if it were not for one of our kind we would not be in this war in the first place. However, just because some of my kind have made mistakes, that does not remove our responsibility to rectify them.>

She scuffs a hoof in disdain, fixing Myitt with a contemptuous glare, <If all your little organization has been able to dredge up all the years of fighting is rumors, then I find it hard to believe that it exists in force, or that it is a threat to the Yeerk Empire. You are a Yeerk. You are going against your very nature by resisting the Empire, and I just cannot see that actually happening. It's a trap. A filthy trick. You're all the same imperialistic slugs when it gets down to it..>

Inside the makeshift Yeerk Pool Terenia feels much more comfortable. She cannot see people accusing her, and she cannot hear the verbal accusations at least. Unfortunately, she can still hear thought-speech.

<Anytime you want, I'd be happy to shut her up for you.> Terenia says openly to all of them. Privately to Efaen, she adds, <<It seems more Andalites than you thought are traitorous Yeerk sympathizers. You trust them to help you defeat the Empire? If you leave me this'll be the closest you'll ever come to a Yeerk again, I'll promise you that.>>
