"Yeah, but as we've seen with Corliss here. Not all of the brain inhabitors are evil."

"That's true," Morgan agreed. "I'd be down a ship's doctor and a good friend if it wasn't for him."

Artemis listened to their conversation then muttered. "I need to get out more." she gave a frown.

((That's fine, Parker. I wouldn't want to try. Not a huge fan of the HALOverse, no offense.

Also, the pouch containing the serum that knocked Efaen out will also have something to revive her. Like in TAC. :) ))

Efaen moved limply within her restraints, and when they were released she fell against whatever would hold her - be it weak Andalite arms or cold, unyielding steel. She would not be regaining consciousness any time soon.

Terenia heard Claxter comment on her attempts to buy herself time and chose not to respond. Just because she could address him in open thought speak, did not mean that she would grant him - or any of them - the opportunity to know whether or not she heard them.

Morgan said to Silver, "You'd be more than welcome to travel with us. Every so often we'll head out on a run. Somehow, at least the past couple of times, we've ended up back here."

She smiled. "I just got you back, there is no way I'm getting left behind on anything." she said with determination and humor.

"Yeah, it's on the bar counter over there," Corliss replies to Parker, gesturing toward the bar.  He leans against the bar door, getting tired of propping it open with his foot.

Fox heard Corliss say "A VW bus?" an became curious. "What's a VW bus?," he thought. Fox gets up and looks around and sees a vehicle of some sort and walks up to it. With a confued and amazed look on his face Fox says: "What inthe universe is this? I've never seen somethin like this. WOW." Then he walks over to Corliss and asks: "What is that?"

(( I don't want to reveal who I am just yet, but I am a humanoid. Try to guess who I am!
Again correct me if I am wrong.))

As Nachtzwaluw opens the creaky old door that had the sign "Galaxy's Edge Space Bar" on it-how kitsch! he thinks-he finds that the bar is filled with creatures of every known species from every corner of the Galaxy, some scheming, some laughing, some brooding, some trying to drink the sorrow away. There are tall ones, short ones, thin ones, fat ones, black ones, white ones, loud ones, quite ones, ones with hands the size of the table they sit at next to ones with feet that look like wire. It was as if Dr. Seuss had written an episode of Cheers! he thinks as he strokes his great beard. He walks to the bar where the bartender stands with what would be an electrical presence for a mortal; needing to sidestep around a small brawl of fisticuffs that had found its way on the floor.

"Hello, gentle innkeeper! I will have a Pangalactic Gargle Blaster if you know it and a hot pastrami sandwich with extra pickles and haggis on the side." The bartender without a word writes down on his pad the price. "This ought to cover it" Nachtzwaluw says, laying down three wapens, a waden, and four sings on the bar. He then turns, sensing a disturbance in the Force. "The Van, she calls for me!"

He bounds for the door.

((So now...cartoon characters are in the bar.  Meta, I thought we talked about originality?  And zaprow, right now I can't tell if you're Lone Star, Nightswallow or Zaphod Beeblebrox...but either way, also not an original character.  C'mon guys, I don't mean to be a prick, but some originality goes a long way towards preventing stagnation in an Animorphs-and-original-sci-fi-based storyline.  A little comedic effect is good to break up the melodrama, but make original characters use it, not silly brand character toss-ins.  How can any of us conduct a-bit-too-serious, dramatic, story-based business when a Looney Tunes character walks by?  Sorry, maybe I'm the only one who's on this bandwagon...))

Corliss watches the strange humanoid man walk past him, ignoring both him and Parker, and then turns to Parker, shrugging.

He watches Marvin the Martian walk up to Terenia's Bug fighter as well.

A moment later the humanoid man walks back out again, hollering something about his van.

"I did not just see what I thought I just saw," says Corliss slowly, looking at Parker with worry.  "Did I?"
