"A greek name, huh? What about Artemis? She was the goddess of forests and hills, child birth, virginity, fertility, the hunt, and often was depicted as a huntress carrying a bow and arrows. My best weapon is a bow and arrow from what little learning I had growing up." then she remembered that she was a True Goddess. "Though I d not think I am much like a Goddess though...." she said with a smile.

Morgan considered it then nodded. "That's a good name," he said.

"Now, I imagine you'll want to know about the kind of life I've been living," Morgan said. "Anything you want to know about that?"

Fox finished his meal, got up, walked over to Terenia, sat down, and said: "You want to save your sister alone. You don't want any help even though you need it. You should accept help when it's offered because something bad will happen. Trust me. I know."

Fox gets up and walks back to the bar.

Corliss watches the conversation go back and forth.  "Parker's right, you know.  We're hardly heroes, no more than you are, trying to stay alive any way you can.  Hell, to the Empire, as you know, we're criminals.  Terrorists.  A nasty thorn in the side of our people's benevolent, sanctimonious right to advance.  We just have greater numbers, we're organized.  It forces us to take a side and act upon it, based on our principles.  Violently if necessary, although that part's a real ****."  He grins a bit.  "And anyway, it's not as though we'd make you one of us.  D'you think we're mad?  You'd just be...sort of our guest."

Terenia laughs sharply, <So I can be a prisoner here or I can be a prisoner with your little rebellion group? You said it yourself, I wouldn't be trusted, wouldn't be able to leave. That's like choosing between brussel sprouts or spinach. Either way I'll end up regretting it.>

To Claxter she adds, <It isn't contradictory. Tammy is family. Family is all anyone ever can count on, and half the time there's not even that. Growing up it was me, her and my brother and that was it. We couldn't depend on anyone for anything. I do what I need to do to ensure that my sister is alive and well. No one and nothing else matters. How is that self serving? Because I don't care about or trust you? What have you, or any of your kind, ever done for me?>

"'ey, I actually rather like Brussels sprouts and spinach," Corliss says matter-of-factly.  "They grow on you when there's naught else to eat, mate.  Anyway, I didn't mean to say you'd be our prisoner, I was just saying that if this lot decides to oust you from that Andalite body, you're not going to die, and you'd have a place to go.  Take it or leave it, if it comes to it."

Keshin listens to Corliss' argument almost boredly and then grins. "Not that you care too terribly much about the opinion of a bounty hunter, but I think on both ends you're kind of screwed. Granted, the rebellion allows for significantly more freedom should you join the club. But being terrorists, it's really hard to get that club to like you. Especially if something you're doing doesn't match with their ideals."

"But Terenia...are you sure that you can get around that Visser Three fellow?" states Keshin calmly. "I figure you have a plan of some kind, yes. But he's fairly unpredictable. He might have a really bad day and then kill your sister for the hell of it. But better what you're doing than nothing, I suppose."

((Shorty, you walked up, said your piece, then walked away, you didn't really stay for any response. Sometimes their characters just wouldn't respond, it happens. My characters get ignored often as well. Just moments ago, Thor's hologram of his daughter was ignored when Morgan saw the locket. I just went with it.))

After Terenia's comment about asking what anyone's done for her, Parker leaned back and interjected, "Hello? I faced off two Andalites and my own friend here for you." He leaned sat straight again and elbowed Zoshonel, "No hard feelings though, right?"

Ossanlin turns his main eyes away from Alic, looking out a grimy window with some sort of electrically-excited tubes of gas hanging in front of it.  <<Of course, you have to do what you want to Aliciania, you're not a Warrior, not even really in the military anymore.  I just want you to think, look before you leap.  There are so many problems, so many shortcomings with this plan.  So many unknowns.  And you have people that care about you, good friends...and significant friends too...more than friends.  I'm afraid that you don't care what happens to you anymore as long as you free your father, but you need to remember that other people care about you.  And how would your father feel if you died or got infested while freeing him?  Just think about it Alic.  If you decide to go, I won't stop you.>>

Ossanlin turns his main eyes to Terenia and his eyes harden.  <Honor is something to aspire to, a higher state of being, a code decency.  Sometimes it must be forgone in war.  One must be realistic, and one must be willing to send his own men to their death to accomplish objectives.  But ordering death in a pitched battle is much different than murder in cold blood.  It is rather offensive for you to suggest that we are the kind of people who kill when it is unneccessary.>  Ossanlin's stalk eyes twitch to Keshin for a moment, then resume scanning the room.  <You will live.  And you will be given the option of a voluntary host.  We would very much like to help your sister, but as long as you stand in our way, that will be impossible.  I meant it when I said we can save two lives here.  Efaen is one, you are the other.  It is completely up to you whether or not we are given the option to save a third.>

Parker slammed his hand down on the bar saying, "Amen to that, brother." He raises his hand and sees the impression his strike made. He looks up to see the BT scowling at him again, "What?" Parker shrugs and gestures to the impression that has now refilled itself, "See?" The BT goes back to drying his mug.

<Tamora is alive, but certainly not well. And certainly not safe with a guy that kills people around him on his bad days. Like I said before, her existance means nothing as she is now. She is alive, but she has no life of her own and no happiness. How could she?>

"No, no hard feelings. I'm glad things settled down before any real combat. Not that I don't love a good fight, but I wouldn't want to have that kind of fight if I didn't have to."

<I suppose you did do something for me,> Terenia acknowledges Parker, <And even though your efforts ultimately failed, I do thank you for attempting to assist me.>

To Ossanlin she almost does not respond, but finally says, <Honor is an abstract concept that you can reach for all your life and never attain. I think that once you abandon your search for honor, even for a second, in the name of furthering your cause it is lost forever. If no one can ever achieve true honor, then what is the point of trying to?>

She does not respond to Claxter's point about her sister, choosing instead to avoid the topic. All she says on the issue is: <I know how Visser Three is. Why do you think I remain close to her?>

Corliss just sips his beer, unwilling to get into a debate about so-called honor in war.  He sighs.

<We all make mistakes, but honor and dignity can be regained. Just because you slip up it doesn't mean you can't keep trying. If you can't answer my previous statement, the I suppose you are in denial. When we get your sister back, I will ask what she wants to make her happy.>

"Temrash messaged me that the others are going to be heading back soon." Zoshonel said to the crowd. "He's going to stay behind to make plans regarding Tamora in case it's the right Tamora."
