Alic took another sip of her water and looked up at Ossanlin. Was it worth risking everything on one small chance? Maybe. "It doesn't matter if you were my Prince.. or who you are to me." She whispered it to where she could barely hear herself. "Wouldn't you do the same thing?" Alic turned her gace to her glass of water.
Of course Ossanlin made sense. When has she ever trust a yeerk besides the couple of friends she did have? "I know if it were one on one, I could take him." Alic looked up, determined, and saw the hrut in Ossanlin's eyes. She wanted to go and save her Father so badly.. But she could never leave Ossanlin behind.
Alic felt grounded. As much as she wanted to take the risk and leave, she was starting to think she wouldn't.
