(It's story time, boys and girls!)
Morgan nodded and said, "Oh he knows about the labs, just not what goes on there. He supports it though. Once I tell, everyone here will know what they do."
Morgan stood up and said, "I had an honest job at one point in time. Back when..." he paused and took a deep breath. "Back when I was...normal. When I was a man. I have to tell the rest of you a brief history of the universe I come from. Hundreds of years ago the government we had was on the verge of collapse. So a new government was made, the Central Government. It seemed good at first, it brought the system together. But now...it's corrupt, but only a few know it. Those like myself. Like I said, I had an honest job once. Something happened though and I was branded a rebel, though I did nothing wrong. I was taken away to a holding center."
He swallowed and said, "I confess I was afraid. I had heard stories of others who had been taken to this place and had never returned. It turns out that prominent Central Government hospitals have experimental laboratories. They use those branded as rebels for guinea pigs. I was one of them."
Morgan used a hand to indicate his appearance. He closed his eyes as he said, "How I look now? I wasn't born this way. I was a human man once. My appearance is the result of their genetic experimentation. I remember the pain. They took my life away from me!"
Morgan's fist was clenched as he said this, growing angry. He took a deep breath and continued.
"Asda was a doctor at this prominent hospital. Top of her field. She was deemed trustworthy by Central Government to be moved to the experimental program. Poor girl thought it was something else. Once she learned what was really being done....she found my files about what they had done. I had been there for 5 years before she came along. Asda helped me escape along with a few others. The other members of my crew. As a result, she was branded a rebel and a fugitive."
Morgan looked back at Cavan. "He may not have known about the program, but I recognize him. He was a guard on the prison transport that took me to that hospital."
Cavan looked at Morgan. "So it IS you!"
"Yes," Morgan said, "it's me. Remember how you also KILLED MY WIFE?! Did you see THAT in his head, Corliss?"
