"Do you want to stop working for him?" Corliss asks.  "There are ways out of this, you know."

[Darth Revan]

"Does he have your human family? That's the only reason I can think he could force you to work for him if you don't want to."

[Terenia]

Terenia looks at Parker, surprised, <He has my sister,> she admits, <he had my brother, but....not anymore.>

[Darth Revan]

"I'm sorry. Does he actually have her in custody, or does he have her under surveillance? I might be able to help if you know where she is."

[Myitt]

"We might be able to help, as well," says Corliss simply, looking down at Mike's hands.

[Terenia]

<She is under Yeerk control,> Terenia said stiffly, <her Yeerk works on his Blade Ship.>

Alic didn't move. She sat back, Jager in hand. This wasn't her problem and didn't want it to be. Not only that, but she couldn't move. She didn't know what she might do right now.
Working for Visser 3? But not wanting to? Her human hands gripped the ice cold bottle tightly as she took a drink, turning her knuckles white. Right now staying in the corner seemed like a good idea, so did keeping her mouth shut before she got herself into some trouble.
How could Terenia not kill the Visser? If only Alic had such opprotunities... What a waste.

"If she's under Yeerk control, that'd be all the better. Two birds, one stone. You capture the Yeerk controlling your sister, and free both yourself and your sister."

[Terenia]

<Impossible,> Terenia says coldly to Parker, <Don't you think I have contemplated such a thing? Visser Three knows how close I was to my sister. He keeps her under close guard. He needs to keep me under...control. He needs to ensure that I will do as he says. Tamara will not be allowed out of his sight, or the sight of his most trusted allies.>

[Darth Revan]

"Okay, I understand. All I'll say is that my team has rescued civies in many impossible situations. We're not your average soldiers. But I'll stop."

[Myitt]

"What if we could try and infiltrate her guard?" Corliss asks, looking up. 

[Alic]

Alic took the last drink of her bottle, and stood up to go get more. She left the empty on the table and walked up to the bar, where the bartender had just set another fresh one down. Ahh, yes. This one will do.
"Someday I will pay you, you know." Then she took her seat in the corner near Ossanlin. Maybe there was something she could do to help both Terenia and herself? Maybe.

Parker stays quiet. Knowing the different scenarios his team could use to take out the guard and run, subdue the ship one by one, or implant an A.I. to control the ship and take the whole crew hostage, etc. But he said he would stop offering, so he stayed quiet.

[Terenia]

<No,> Terenia says firmly, <Any attempt that is made to free her will only result in her execution. Please, don't try to change that. Attempting to free her is unacceptable. It won't happen. It cannot happen. Once, I thought it could. Once, I thought we could be a family again. Her, and myself and my brother.> Terenia trails off, forcing herself to bite down upon her emotions.

<I will not let Tamora fall the same way that my brother fell.> Terenia says at last.
