"Hmm," Myitt replies to Temrash, "should I give a criminal Imperial dapsen, with a fresh new host to abuse, a ship with which she can patrol the galaxy?  Maybe return back to her superiors and beg for mercy?  Or is it nobler to simply let her starve out here in space?  Because I'm certainly not supplying her with Kandrona generators."  She considers.  "I think I like this ship, maybe I'll consider it **** tax."

---

Corliss steps out of the ship, keeping close to it for now--these demonic creatures were far beyond his ability to fight, and even looking at them was starting to make his head hurt.

<It's like some kind of bloody Lovecraft nightmare,> his host, Michael, murmurs weakly as he presses himself against the ship's metal exterior, Dracon drawn.

(Myitt is talking to Zoshonel, not Temrash.)

<Calling Ardiss an butthole isn't very nice.> Christine said. Not wanting to think the word ass.

"No need to fling insults, Myitt. That's not going to help anything." Zoshonel said, glad he left out the part where Ardiss demanded kara's death. "I guess I'll take that as a no."

Zoshonel readied the jump into Z-Space. It caused little disturbance, as the compensators were still in good working order.

Something sparks in Breekan's skull, and he begins to fly back to the Vagabond. He fires at a couple of the nurglings as he flies, hoping they can't come up to join him. He passes Corliss as he enters the ship, and screeches to a halt in front of Gaz, lungs billowing rapidly from his rush.

"Gaz! Monster! Scary! Needs dead! Ship! Energy weapons?"

"I want my ship back, you dapsens!" Ardiss raged. She knew, though, once they jumped to Z-Space, that it was useless. "That traitor is as good as dead," she spat, crossing her arms and glaring at the ships occupants furiously.

The door opens slightly and a figure dressed in dark pants, shoes and hoodie slips inside almost unnoticed. The hood is pulled tightly over their head hiding most of their face in shadow. They ease across the bar and sit on the far left raising their hand to the bartender who comes over. They whisper something and the bartender nods.

Strangely enough the bartender brings a nondscript bottle over with a neon green crazy straw protruding from the bottle. The stranger smiles and wraps their emerald green lips around it to take a sip. After a few moments they stop to finally take in the old building that was once like home...they shake their head and continue to sip their 'drink'.

The air was buzzing with the current noise but was ignored. They only wanted to sit in peace for the moment.

((Psych, the battle, is not 5-10 feet from the front door, how'd you sneak in?

I'm a little lost as to who's at the bar, who's going to the bar, and who's running from the bar:

I know, Daneka, Temrash, Hunter, Ossy, Alic, Khez, myself, and Agent X are battling in front of the bar.

But the returning ships is where I'm getting squiffy:

There were three ships, weren't there? Corliss's, Gaz's, and Murphy's?

Which ones came back? Which one has Mar?))

(Maybe the back door? or the hole in the wall, if that hasn't been patched up yet?)

<She never swore loyalty to you, Ardiss. Ergo, she can't betray you. Unless you have a different definition of the word than I do.>

"I can tell you're going to be a lot of work." Zoshonel said.

(sorry it took me so long to respond. My eyes got dilated this morning and it finally doesn't hurt to look at my laptop screen. lol)

Gaz was momentarily stunned by the sudden burst but regained herself and said, "Right there in that panel."

Gaz was pointing to a panel by the entrance to the bridge.

"What's the trouble?" she asked.

Meanwhile, Fletcher was scooping Keirdan some ice cream in the galley.

"What's a person?" he repeated. "Well...I'm a person. Gaz is a person. I suppose person is another name for humans. You want sprinkles or something?"

Breekan inhales deeply. "The thing, the scary one, it's big and it is scary. It absorbs physical attacks. A ship has bigger guns than most people do. It seemed like a wise idea."

"Ah," Gaz said, catching on. "Feel free to fire up the weapon's console or head to the manual. I'll keep an eye on things down here."

Mar groans, his hangover headache suddenly intensifying dramatically. Oh, great. I'm just loving this day more every...wait a second. Mar frowns, and then suddenly realizes this added burden isn't actually due to his hangover. He sorts the signal out and recognizes it as belonging to Ossanlin. But it doesn't seem good at all. Damn. He definitely needs backup. But how in the world am I supposed to help him? The demon isn't one of my own, so I cannot alter the creature. And I'm not nearby, so I cannot fight it.

Mar lays against his chosen seat and tries to send a message back to Ossanlin. He might be under fire, but he imagines that his own aura should be quite clear to a being of Ossanlin's level. How can I get to you? I'm currently on a ship headed back to the Bar. I could try to send an attack, but that is not an easy task.

Mar then glances at Zoshonel after completing this, tired, and states, "This variant of me's life would end, yes. But the being I consider me has many tendrils. Only I would personally die. And if I die, this creature could form a more workable avatar."

"So you're a Spirit Diety?" Zoshonel asked. "I've never actually met one before."

Mar nods calmly. "Yes, but at the moment I'm a somewhat useless one. The only reason I would ever choose to appear in this way was in order to do a simple thing: to pay the tab of someone I recognize without disrupting the spiritual order. A creature called Crayak dominates this reality, and I suspect  he would be rather annoyed if he thought I were wandering about in his Game. So, I used the bizarre location of the Bar in space to my advantage and created a non-threatening mortal shape. I can still use..." Mar pauses and motions with his hand as if to suggest "Sort of." "...a number of abilities, but many others are entirely broken."

Mar chuckles miserably to himself. "Now I have a terrible hangover and am feeling things in this form that should normally be impossible. You...who are you then, exactly? You remind me of...a...well, a person I'm not exactly on the best terms with. No offense to you personally, of course."

"I am a young Draksar adult who decided to leave his planet and explore the reaches of space. I have battle and piloting training, and have encountered a few life or death battles along the way. I met Jagill, who is Temrash's partner, when we were both individually captured. We bonded, and have been together for a little while now. I'm a lot of what you may expect of a young warrior. Not battle hardened enough to have skewed morals, or a cynical attitude."
